We will arrange our next trip to Ireland around this restaurant with rooms! Beautiful room with nice extra touches such as complimentary bottles of wine. Fantastic peaceful setting next to the lake. Lovely restaurant with an interesting menu, all beautifully cooked. After the wonderful breakfast, we were sad to leave. We will however, be back.

Just back from two nights in The Mill with my husband. Always wary of glowing reviews but our experience certainly exceeded our expectations. I echo all the comments made by other reviewers. Location, view and ambience all outstanding. We have eaten in five star hotels in Australia, the Far East South America ,USA and Europe but this was a different... More

This is a fantastic restaurant for a special occasion. Beautiful location, and food to match, cooked from local ingredients, served in a lovely room, and we love being able to relax over tea and coffee in the conservatory after the meal. Just make a reservation as it is usually fully booked!

We went here for a special occasion last year. It is only a few minutes walk from our house. I have never had such a beautiful meal. From the gorgeous canapes to the lovely petit fours, I enjoyed every minute and the ambience and service were perfect. I am taking my brother and sister-in-law here on their visit from Sydney... A truly wonderful meal to celebrate a birthday! Some of the most beautifully cooked food I have had anywhere. It's a two and a half hour drive from our house to the Mill and I would gladly do it in a heart-beat.

Friends had recommended this place, so we drove a huge distance to get there with friends over from the UK. It was worth it. The food is fab, the place and owner most welcoming and the location excellent. All four of us had a gourmet experience with the very best food cooked to the very highest standard, says it all.

The room we had was luxurious country house style with an excellent view over a beautiful lake. A welcome touch was the complimentary half bottles of wine in the room on arrival. Enjoyed drinks before dinner in a comfortable drawing room before the excellent dinner. Not surprised they are regularly voted Best Restaurant in Ulster - the quality of the... More
