Great place to stay. Very clean room. Owner is super friendly and has all the time in the world to talk and share his knowledge of the area. True Irish hospitality. A great stay. Will definitely be back.

A friend told me that I needed to stay here, so I blindly took her advice without doing any research. What I found was a magical little place full of friendly faces and charm. Brendan, the owner, was kind and accommodating to my every-need. He even wrote a guide for places to see around Donegal, which was super helpful to... More

Sometimes it's amazing what will happen .... if you let it!! I'm so glad that your friend's recommendation proved to be accurate and that you enjoyed your stay here. Truly, it is a magical and peaceful place ... for thousands of years and it does call people back, again and again. I am very grateful for your lovely review because... More

We had booked to stay in a carriage but happy to upgraded to the Trawler.Would have loved to stay longer than a night to enjoy the fabulous views. we were greeted my Brendan and on of his American staff. I could have listened to Brendan's stories for a week! My partner "bought me" the book, which Brendan signed for us,... More

Thank you for your very complimentary review of our Glamping facilities, which seem to be getting increasingly popular, even this season despite the bad weather. You describe the setting, facilities and surroundings very well but I fear that you are over-generous in your praise of the rather eccentric owner. Surely one day of my stories is enough for anyone. I'm... More

Did not know what I was getting into, but took a chance and was happy for it! I would recommend that if you stay here, have your own transportation, or be a strong walker with no knee/leg problems, or age problems (it's a 3 or 4 km walk to the village, and a lot more to the nearest sights to... Thanks for your very helpful review, Avery. I'm very glad that you enjoyed your stay and I agree completely with your description of the setting and the distance to the village. However, for some this is a real advantage in that they are assured peace and quiet but a vibrant village scene which distance is "just a fine stretch of... More

We stayed in our motorhome here for a couple of nights over a bank holiday. Stunning views from the site, and Brendan's insight to the local walks and views out over the head were invaluable in allowing us to get the best out of this magnificient location. The staff here work hard at personal customer service and the facilities are... More

We planned to spend a long Bank Holiday weekend in Dunfanaghy with friends, and was recommended to stay at Corcreggan Mill. Unfortunately we missed our outbound flight and therefore lost a day and a half of our trip. Brendan, the owner, could not have been more accommodating in respect of our changed plans. He not only reduced the change from... More

Stayed in the family bell tent for 2 nights with a 1 year old and a 4 year old. Fantastic warm welcome by Brendan and shown round the whole property. The tent was really spacious and even enough room for a travel cot which I'd brought with me. The little decking area on the front was an added bonus. I... More

We have camped all over Europe and this was one of the best campsites ever. Brilliant value for money but best of all was the generosity of the owner who was so thoughtful in what he has laid on for campers. We were in normal tents and the weather had been pretty rubbish and very windy all day. I was... More
