Had a great stay here with Brendan and staff. Can't recommend it enough. Great value for camping and the use of all the facilities. Great rustic camping experience. Two of us used it as a base for cycling the hills of Dunfanaghy, Will definitely be back! Only a couple of miles from main town too!

Stayed there 2 nights with a tent and simply loved it. Friendly staff and extremely peaceful atmosphere. The camper's kitchen is really nice and equipped with everything you need to cook. The garden where you can pitch your tent is absolutely nice, as well as the toilets and the bathroom. Absolutely to recommend.

A friend and myself spent two nights in the wonderful Corcreggan Mill, tucked away in the hills of Donegal. I would recommend the "Railway Carriage" to stay in as it really is quite a unique experience. The owners are lovely and had time for everyone, breakfast was top notch also. Great stuff

Corcreggan Mill is an ideal starting point for sightseeing. The general condition of the hostel is very good and it is absolutely fascinating to find out the different types of accommodations that are proposed (conventional but cute rooms in the hostel itself, tents for campers in the beautiful garden, car park for motorhome or even beds in a real carriage... We booked the Family Tent as something fun to do with the kids before they went back to school, we had never been camping before so thought that glamping was a nice way to start, well we arrived mid afternoon, the place was great, Brendan the owner was very hospitable and had a great knowledge of the area, the kids... Hello Patsy, Thank you for your complimentary review and I remember how well you all coped, in such good humour, when the torrential rain could have totally destroyed your holiday. We may have failed you in that we might not have pointed out the washbasin and mirror at the end of the Carriage platform, beside the toilets. Nonetheless, your positive... More

We stayed as campers in our campervan here for 3 nights in August 2014. We pulled up to their 'motorhome park' and found essentially a car park with virtually no grass areas - not ideal when you want to pitch an awning next to your campervan. Luckily we were the only ones there that first night and we were able... More

I have rarely encountered a negative review which didn’t have some valid contribution to make which would help us to improve our service. This one is at variance with the experience of most other reviewers and I only go to the bother of answering it in case some people who have not already visited us get the wrong impression. As... We booked this as a last minute adventure before the kids went back to school....and we got more than we bargained for! I travelled with my mother and 2 kids age 16 and 10...we decided as an adventure we would stay in the railway sleeper carriage....room or rather carriage #3, that slept 4 people with a shared bathroom...as soon as... Wow!. What an incredibly informative and complimentary review? Many thanks. Sorry for the dodgy wifi service which, unlike the lack of TV, is not intentional! In fact, we installed a second wifi router, beside the Carriage this time, from a different provider but being “at the end of the line”, we are not at all well served by so many... More

My wife and I where disappointed with our 2 nights at Corcreggan Mill Hostel in late July 2014. Things we liked:  Friendliness: The owner Brendon and his partner Marina were friendly, as were the staff (mostly young people from the European mainland). The hostel was busy so one could not expect much personal attention.  Breakfast: A continental breakfast... More

Myself and my two young lads (9 & 11) spent 2 nights with Brendan and the team and can honestly say that we had a ball. The place is clean, safe and has such a special atmosphere that its quite hard to put it into words. We are from Manchester and had one night in the railway carriage and 1... More

I've stayed with friends in the camping area for a night but all I can tell is that it wasn't enough! All is very charming, with old but charming materials, the carriage is an extraordinary dorms and the various little rooms and houses give a wonderful atmosphere to this place. Strongly recommended!
