You could not ask for anything more from Anseo B&B. The location is fabulous, being only a couple of minutes walk into the town and all that Dunfanaghy has to offer including plenty of restaurants, pubs and outdoor activities on the door step. The bedroom we stayed in was a large comfortable room with a view over the bay. It... More

Spent two nights in Anseo - Lisa was a brilliant host - welcoming us with tea/coffee and lovely cheese and biscuits. The room was spotless, and the bed was lovely and comfortable. The breakfast choices were fantatstic - we sampled the Full Irish, French Toast with bacon & mushooms and the pancakes with bacon. All three options were delicious, and... More

This is the second time we have stayed here and it's still the best place we have ever been. The rooms are lovely - comfortable big beds and everything you need and the location just on the edge of Dunfanaghy means there's lots of pubs and restaurants within a few minutes walk, it's close to a great beach and yet... Very warm reception and immediate, homely, atmosphere from friendly hosts Lisa and Gary who willingly engage and readily assist while being respectful of individual autonomy and privacy. Very knowledgeable about the area and where to go and what to do and see. Anseo is very easy to find and is well positioned close to the golf club and beach and... More

Just returned after a long weekend with my son driving the Atlantic coast in Donegal. We stayed at Anseo and could not fault this wonderful accomodation. The hospitality was warm and genuine, our bedroom was comfortable and well equipped and the breakfast was as good as I have ever eaten in any 5 star establishment. I would not hesitate to... More

This is a wonderful B&B in a beautiful part of Ireland. Our ensuite room was great but the best part of our stay was Lisa's warm hospitality. There is a beautiful guest lounge with wood burning stove and we made great use of this as the weather was not so great on one of the days of our stay.Lisa provided... More

Anseo B & B is definitely my new, favorite place. First of all, we drove the coastal, scenic route to get there. Scenery was spectacular. Upon arrival, Lisa said she'd put the kettle on and to come down for tea when we were unpacked. Tea as well as a lovely cheeseboard. How welcoming! Our room was on the first floor.... More

I spent a weekend in Anseo last August and was blown away by the quality of the accommodation, the food and the real Irish welcome from Lisa. I booked again to go last week and thought that I had perhaps been too effusive first time and, whilst I was expecting another great experience, I didn't realise that it would even... More
