I always enjoy returning to Arnolds. The rooms are very comfortable. In fact on my latest visit I had the best night's sleep I've had away from my own bed. I pre-booked bed & breakfast, and the full Irish breakfast set me up nicely for the day. The food in the evening is also excellent, although on this trip I... More

I've stayed here twice, and haven't really taken to it. As indicated below, it looks kind of tired and our "superior" room was no exception and was rather oddly ( and not terribly usefully ) shaped to boot. WiFi didn't reach our room and wasn't that easy to get in the public areas either. I did however enjoy my seafood... More

Arnold's is a small hotel on the main street of the village, overlooking a beautiful sandy bay. Although it is clean and quiet (at least if your room is at the back of the building), the decor is tired, the furniture cheap and the breakfast inedible. Our room was not well cleaned during our stay (i.e. the garbage wasn't emptied).... More

I was reluctant to book here given that the hotel has a bar, we'd be staying on a Friday night, and we like quiet. We were given a room in the back near the parking lot that was perfectly quiet. The highlight of our stay was Laura, the receptionist. Upon arrival, she gave us directions and suggestions for visiting Horn... More

We were 2 nights at Arnold's while having a cycle safari in Donegal. Dunfanaghy itself is a quite lovely village with great nature sights and tracking routes. Also activities like surfing and paddling can be done during the stay. 1. Room Our Double Room with a big bed and bath was ok. The only con was that it was located... More

We stayed three nights in Arnold's Hotel and we can heartily recommend it. The bedrooms were comfortable, the food superb and the owner and staff could not have been more helpful. What more can I say?

I recently stayed with friends on a painting trip. Comfortable room, good food-excellent breakfast! Very pleasant helpful staff who seemed to be genuinely pleased to see us! A little old fashioned in a Donegal way, lovely turf fire, gallons of hot water too. Wifi in room.

While I didn't stay in this hotel, myself and my friends dined in the hotel bar every day during our 3 night trip to Donegal. I have to say the food was top class (from toasted sandwiches to hot dinners), the service was fantastic (in particular Debra who was always friendly, helpful and very welcoming) and I would have no...
