My last and final Fish N Chips in Ireland...a very sad...though I will come back someday! €6 Seafood Chowder...good! Though the bowl was slightly smaller than others €5.50 Irish Coffee...yup! :) €12 Fish N Chips...oh yes please! Side salad is a nice touch! €8 or less: various sandwhiches we didn't try. Byrnes appeared to be the nicest restaurant in Ennistymon:... More

This was one of the WORST places we've ever stayed. The owner badly needs to put some money into the rooms...it appears the restaurant is his prime focus and it shows in the room, no focus on guest comfort at all. The room had 2 twins that were rock hard, mine had such a down slope I had to fight... More

Excellent service, fair prices, and a wine emphasis that is not so easy to come by in this beery land. We had good fish and chips and a smoked salmon salad. Our waiter also made suggestions on where we could go in touring the area. I was very happy with the meal. There's not much to the town sightseeing wise... More

We stayed here on our first night in country, so a good night's sleep was essential... And we got it! Our room was furnished for sleeping 3, but they brought in a "z-bed" for our 4th family member - our 11 year old son. It was a little squeaky, but we all slept great. We had dinner in the restaurant,... More

We stopped here after visiting the cliffs of moher, as it looked to have the most appetising menu on the street. It was a tad more expensive than the other places but worth it. The very friendly waiter/barman showed us in and seated us. We all had the cod and chips, the batter was light and tasty and the fish... More

I had a friends wedding taking place in The Falls Hotel and when I booked the hotel, it was €280 for 2 nights b&b - I checked on here and found Byrne's, which I booked for less than half the price of what the hotel were looking for. When we arrived on Friday evening we were somewhat shocked as to... More

We stayed in the friendly town of Ennistymon, County Clare last week in the Byrnes Restaurant and Accommodation because we wanted to try somewhere different off the trodden tourist path that presented a bit of elegance at affordable prices. We found the town of Ennistymom perfectly situated for us to play golf at Lahinch Golf Course as well as tour... More

We really enjoyed our meal in Byrnes. It was the most enjoyable evening of our recent stay in County Clare. The staff were welcoming, the food was delicious and we had a lovely corner table with a great view all to ourselves. The restaurant setting is cosy and tables are nicely spaced (a luxury these days!). If I were back... More

Stopped for a late late lunch and walked into a deserted bar and had to ask for reassurance whether they were actually open or not.. anyway service was very prompt and was given menu's by young barman and told that the salmon was off the menu temporary. Food arrived twenty minutes later and was pleasantly surprised we ordered cod in... More

Hi Buchally, My name is Conor, I am the manager in Byrne's. Glad to hear you enjoyed the food. Sorry to hear you didn't completely enjoy the whole experience, we were having trouble with our boiler that day and decided to get it fixed during the quietest period of the day. It's fixed now and the restaurant is cosy again.... More
