The Hotel is set in lovely surroundings, the staff are friendly and helpful. There's lots to keep kids entertained, games rooms, pool and a family of Donkeys on the drive up to the \hotel, The River is ideal for fishing and the place does have a lot to offer for a relaxing break. The Spa, Pool and amenities are fantastic,... more

We stayed for one night in the falls hotel for a mother daughter night away. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The gentleman working on reception on check-in was great organising an early check-in for us. I had to wait for my room as there had been a wedding the night before and they were waiting for rooms. I had... more

This hotel is fine if you wish to return to the 80s. Theres nothing really wrong with it, its just not as nice and fashionable as many of the hotels we stayed in recently. The bar is quiet nice but the entertainment that was on was shocking and slightly frightening. I know its suppose to be like and old country... more

The Falls Hotel Ennistymon was the perfect hotel for us, firstly the staff which were friendly, polite and very keen to help us in any way possible, then the rooms which where clean, spacious and modern. We stayed there for 3 nights during which we held our wedding reception at the Falls which thanks to the hotels efforts went flawlessly,... more

I have been to quite a few hotels this last month and this one is probably the one I will not ever return to. It is such a pity because it is in a great location in a lovely irish town about 3 klms from the sea and a good base to explore Co. Clare by car. We were at... more

Cons This hotel is like something from the 80s. Hugely understaffed, staff running around chasing their tails. Over-worked. Food was barely eatable, in fact I didn't eat any of the dinner - vile. Lots of guests complaining - it was a case of get in line. Unfriendly receptionist. Part of the celing fell in on me while in bed. Complained... more

im so glad i hadnt looked at trip advisor as it may have put me off coming to this hotel. we had an excellent stay. and i notice that all the poor comments left by other trip advisor members have been taken on board which is a great sign that the hotel realises its problems. most reviews mention the dated... more

We stayed here as part of Supervalue getaway breaks and were quite aprehensive after reading the reviews. I was very plesently surprised. fair enough the rooms could do with updating but they were huge and very clean and comfortable. We did overlook the car park but the view from the front of hotel was stunning and more than made up for... more

Went here on the supervalu club breaks for two nights which was good value. Its location is fab. The hotel is out of date though and needs a lot of work to bring it back up to a good place to stay. At the moment they are only half way there. Food was nice but not exceptional (really irish style).... more
