We stayed here for two nights because we were golfing in Lahinch and Doonbeg. The hotel is a great hotel. Small and intimate, well appointed, an excellent lounge and an outstanding restaurant. Plus add a staff that was always helpful and thoughtful. I mentioned to the person at the front desk that we had to leave for our 7:40am tee... More

We loved this hotel which has a beautiful intimate lounge to relax in, the dining room is quiet and intimate also and the staff are simply fantastic. The attention to detail and the pride taken by all staff to ensure everything is perfect is amazing. Spacious modern rooms, but with an historic feel, spotless updated bathrooms with every convenience. The... More

We've stayed at Vaughan Lodge multiple times over the years and it remains one of our favorite places in Ireland. The rooms are perfect: comfortable beds, nice appointments, and the best high pressure showers - to top it off we could see the course at Lahinch and the ocean from our room. Breakfast includes a full buffet as well as... More

What a great place to stay and eat. Lahinch is an easy walk from the hotel. The Restuarant has very high quality food and the people are truly service driven. Best part, hottest shower you can get after a cold or rainy day of golf. Well done all ways!

My partner and I stayed at Vaughan Lodge for one night last week and we were highly impressed by the hotel and in particular the standard of food there. The food would not have been out of place in a five star hotel - so compliments to the chef! All the staff were friendly and very attentive. The hotel is... More

Stayed here for two nights in July 2014 with husband & teenage son. Excellent room and beautiful breakfast, staff very helpful . The rate to stay is very good and would highly advise to stay here. There was a slight mix up with our dinner but the owner kindly looked after us very well. Will be back for sure !

Recently spent 2 weeks golfing in Scotland and Ireland with another couple. This was our last stop and a delightful end to our trip! The food was outstanding - best breakfast I had during our trip both in quality and presentation, and dinner was so delicious and beautifully presented we requested a trip to the kitchen to meet the chef!...
