After a great week on the Sheep's Head peninsula, we'd travelled north to Galway Bay, looking forward to the second week of our Eire holiday. Not long after checking into our accommodation, we decided we'd made a mistake and starting surfing looking for nearby alternatives .... at 2:00 a.m. I discovered Moy House and booked the remaining available room online... Our bedroom had a bay window looking out over the expanse of green lawn to the sea. When we checked in, the staff brought us afternoon tea and started a fire in the fireplace. Looking out onto the ocean, having tea in such a tranquil setting, as long as I live, I will never forget how special that felt. Get... More

The Moy House is a must! The house is amazing, the staff we welcoming and so helpful. We were able to make it back from a day of exploring the Cliff of Moher to enjoy a wonderful dinner! The breakfast was the best we had experienced on our entire trip. When we come back, we will definately stay a couple... More

The view out over the Atlantic was spectacular. The rooms were spacious and inviting. Suzy was a perfect host. She showed us the entire house, explained the easy walk into town. We were at Moy House on a Monday night, so we missed Duncan's choice menu. But the full Irish breakfast was cooked to order. How I envy the travelers... More

Stayed here for a weekend as we were going to be in the area. I had never heard much about Moy House unlike some of the the other hotels listed in the Blue Book so i wasnt sure what to expect. Once you turn into the property its very much like you are going to someone's private home. No tacky... More

This was our first night in Ireland and they really set the bar high. Suzy and Duncan would have made the meals a memorable event even if the food was mediocre, which it was not! Chefs choice menu was amazing. The linens and pillows are all luxury and the staff (which feel more like friendly hosts welcoming you into their... More

A great base to explore some of the Atlantic West Coast of Ireland with a number of lovely towns and cliffs up and down the coast within a short drive. Lovely feel to the house with its modern and clean interior decorated in a period style. We had a large sea view room with a bay window which was a... More

From start to finish we had a wounderful experience in Moy house. We were warmly greated, our room was upgraded to a beautiful sea view. We felt more like friends than guests. We had dinner on tuesday night and it was exceptional and breakfast was also excellent on both mornings. We will definately return.

My fiance and I were lucky enough to spend two days here during our first trip to Ireland. On our arrival date, we had been out sightseeing all day and were both tired and hungry by the time we reached the Moy House. Despite our arriving much later than planned, we were greeted graciously and invited to sit down for... More

The food is exquisite with a 6 course tasting menu in the conservatory dining room looking out on the sea. Lovely welcome in gorgeous rooms, all different and interesting. Service... More
