Months after this stay I still crave their Potato Leek soup and the unbelievable home baked bread. Eggs at breakfast with yolks so yellow, and fresh, I thought they may have been radioactive. Enough said, food was superb. Water side location made for great strolls, and nearby golf.... Well, beautiful courses but for that darn Irish weather....Rain,Rain, Rain. Again and... More

Suzi and Carolyn looked after us incredibly well and we had a wonderful stay...I agree with what all the other reviewer say about how good the house is but I would like to mention the dining room. We had the set menu the first night...the chef is excellent and clearly knows his craft extremely well.....we had a rich mushroom soup... More

Lovely two night stay just as the season is winding down. Staff wonderful. Breakfasts were the best we have had so far in Ireland - we were disappointed that the restaurant was closed for dinner. The view from our room was breath-taking.

From start to finish we had an absolutely wonderful experience at Moy House. The property itself appears to be much smaller from the entrance than what actually awaits the guests due to the lower levels which open out onto the water views. We stayed in the Moymore room and found it exactly as described....with a lovely seating area with ocean... More

The moy house is very charming atop a hill looking at the back side of the cliffs of moher. It was remodeled around 2000. I can't remember the exact year. It could use some minor touch ups but that is always a much lower priority for me. We spent our day at the Aran Islands. We took the ferry out... More

We went to Moy House after our wedding ceremony for a 5-course dinner here and it was fabulous. It's a so called "tasting" menu, so everyone gets the same and the quality is high. We had butternut squash soup as a starter, followed by Goats Cheese and beetroot/walnut salad. The mains then were Sea-bass with crab meat and steak followed... More

This is a most charming hotel in a great location for wandering through this part of Ireland. The staff were wonderful. We booked a "garden" view room, which was more than adequate for our one night stay. However, if you are able to splurge a little the sea views are great. The dining room overlooks the sea in the distance... More

No dithering over what to choose off the menu here. You get what chef Matt Strefford feels like cooking, all five courses. His fish supplier just along the coast phones Matt every morning with what the local fishermen have brought home overnight. For us, it was John Dory on our first evening (pan fried...perfectly) and hake (steamed with a fragrant... More

We were expecting a lot of the Moy House when we booked it, and it definitely surpassed everything what we had in mind !! What a great find. We had a sea view room (got upgraded, suppose because we stayed for dinner), the room was amazing, large, fantastic bed, great view, good bathroom, in fact all you can think of... More

After a great week on the Sheep's Head peninsula, we'd travelled north to Galway Bay, looking forward to the second week of our Eire holiday. Not long after checking into our accommodation, we decided we'd made a mistake and starting surfing looking for nearby alternatives .... at 2:00 a.m. I discovered Moy House and booked the remaining available room online...
