The staff was so wonderful and the views were amazing. The room was spacious and fully stocked with everything for my mom and I. They had an amazing "honor" bar and were nice enough to serve us tea in the drawing room by the fire. The breakfast was so yummy and we received everything that we asked for. While eating... More

Outstanding restaurant both dinners and breakfasts. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice water views from the property. Our suite was spacious; the bed and linens were comfortable. At this point the rating would be 4+. But at US$450/night the price was out of line with the other 6 inns we visited so the rating drops to 4. And Moy House is... More

Stayed last Friday night as a treat booked by my partner for my birthday. The show round on arrival was brilliant and set the tone for the stay - very friendly and welcoming. The staff are absolutely brilliant. The room was a small double (but all they had left at the time of booking) but perfectly formed with lovely views... More

We're on the last leg of our Ireland tour and we all agree that Moy House was the outstanding stay over of our holiday. It's in a stunning setting and has attentive staff and superb food. The whole experience was fantastic. The accommodation was top drawer, couldn't be beaten!

My family and I stayed just for one night after a cold and blustery day visiting the cliffs of moher. The clouds cleared a bit and we enjoyed walking to the shore, running around the garden), coming close to the horses in the fields adjacent to the hotel and taking in breathtaking views. The room was so charming and comfortable... More

On arrival the actual building could be seen as a little disappointing. BUT go in and it's totally different. Understated and delightful. Lovely views, the rooms are a good size with very comfortable beds. The bathroom is very well equipped. The dining is quite amazing. Wonderful standard. The staff are excellent, very welcoming and efficient. I find it difficult to... More

We approached the Moy House after quite a long day of travelling around Lahinch. At first I was confused because it did not look exactly like the photos I had seen on line - but then I realized a lot of the photos are taken showing the back of the house - which is truly quite different from the front!... the room was indeed nicely decorated but very unconfortable with a small double bed with the head part of the bed being lower than the legpart, giving a serious attack of heartburn. In the middel of the night we turned around with our heads towards the legpart of the bed. The dining in this hotel is very nice, with excellent... More

The Moy House is the place to stay near the Cliffs of Mohr. There are 5 or 6 bedrooms that are all wonderful. Our friends insisted we take the huge room downstairs with fireplace and sitting room with floor to ceiling windows. What a gorgeous view across the lawn to the water!! Horses frolicked in the water everyday. The living... More
