We stayed at The Siding for 2 nights in June. Doug and Susan are friendly and kind hosts. They made us some tea when we first arrived, and we sat in the sitting room and talked for a bit. I had notified them of my food allergies ahead of time, so Susan had ready a box of really tasty gluten-free,... More

I had such a lovely time at the Sidings. The rooms are perfect, the welcome is warm and the food is DELICIOUS!! Susan makes wonderful muffins and homemade granola as well as cooked breakfast any way you fancy. It's an easy walk into Lehinch, a great place for surfing, food and pubs. I would definitely stay here again. Many thanks.

I was here last year with my brother on a golfing holiday. This year I returned with my wife and another couple. Once again, everything was great. Susan and her husband Doug are outstanding hosts at their B&B. Very clean, very modern, and the breakfast was excellent. This is the perfect place to stay at if you are visiting Lahinch.

I've been to Lahinch many times and tried different B&B's - this one is def. the best!! I've stayed in Susans B&B 5 times now - whenever I have people visiting me in Ireland I bring them to this lovely B&B ;) The rooms are spotless clean and comfy, bed linen smells lovely fresh, the breakfast is delicious and Susan... My elderly parents stayed here for two nights and I had to write a review as the owners Susan and Doug were brilliant. They dropped my parents into town both nights so they could go to dinner and have a few drinks and arranged a taxi to collect them. My parents said it was the best breakfast they'd ever had... More

The location was fine and we enjoyed a visit to the beach at Lahinch. It was wonderful to see people out in the water surfing in the evening. The service was adequate but we found the owner a little rushed and the breakfast was poor.

Our experience at the Siding B&B was sub par. There was no plug available for the tub which in turn did not allow the tub to be used. We were rushed for breakfast because the proprietors had other priorities. We have stayed in many B&Bs across Ireland and specifically Co Claire with much better with much experiences. Otherwise the rooms... More

John, On checking in I advised that breakfast was between 8.30am & 9.30am. I asked if you wouldn’t mind coming out to breakfast at 8.30am to allow me to attend my daughter’s graduation.Once seated you were under no time restraints as to when you finished. I felt that as you had children you would understand. You said this was ok.... More

The Siding was a great first stop on our tour of Clare and Kerry. It was my first time in Ireland and Susan and Doug made my Mom and I feel right at home from the start. The location of the bed and breakfast is approx. 1 mile from town. Walkable for sure. It is a short drive to the... More

We stayed two nights in May. We were made very welcome by Susan and Doug who gave us good recommendations for eating out and sightseeing. Beautiful king sized bed and most comfortable. Good breakfast too. Only dropped a star because we struggled for hanging space in our ground floor rear facing room. In fact all the furniture seemed too small... More

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here only a couple of weeks ago. It was all we needed done to a high standard, once in the door we got a cup of tea and freshly baked chocolate muffins, yum! Our room was large with an bathroom with a lovely shower, we also had a balcony, however with the weather we couldn't... More
