We stayed out of town and strolled the restaurants looking at menus- stopped in here. What a good choice. One of the best meals I've had. I had smoked salmon and cod in a mussel sauce that then came with potatoes, carrots and brussel sprouts (needed their own plate.) Husband had fish and chips and salad. It was all so... More

It's an old fashioned charming country town hotel. Everything required is here including warm hospitality. We arrived sans booking and were lucky enough to be given a third floor room with lovely windows overlooking the ocean from the middle of town. Great little find. A stones throw from the cliffs of Moher. You might have to wade through groups of... More

Originally booked at Shamrock Hotel beside but moved to Atlantic for quieter rooms. The Atlantic is higher end, newer, cleaner and most accommodating. Restaurant has excellent food- chicken dinner was delicious. Declan and Claire (staff) we're excellent and most helpful.

Our golf foursome stayed at this hotel before playing the next day. The Lahinch golf course was 600 meters from the hotel. Breakfast was scheduled to be from 8:00am, but since our t-time was at 8:30, they opened the restaurant at 7:30am. The rooms were small but clean and updated. The staff was very accomodating. The dinner menu was extensive... More

We recently spent two nights at this hotel in Lahinch. When we arrived in reception, the girl was most friendly and helpful, which goes for all the staff we cam into contact with during our stay. We had a room at the front of the hotel and everything was clean and fresh. The breakfasts were good and plentiful. We had... More

Our family room was dark and tiny, barely enough room to pass by each other. The bathroom however was enormous. The walls are paper thin, we could hear the conversation next door and above us with the added bonus of stomping feet from the room above. The bell at the front desk does not work - so you have to... I stayed as I have on previous occasions during the South of Ireland Golf Championship at this central and comfortable Hotel. I work with the G.U.I. during this week and it means up at 6 a.m. to get things ready for the competition at 7 a.m. The night porter offers me coffee or tea each morning but I have had... More

Perfectly nice place to stay with a very good restaurant. As previous reviews point out, rooms are clean and a bit on the smaller side, but hey, you're asleep! Restaurant seems to share staff with its sister hotel next door (Shamrock Inn) and they were a bit understaffed the second night we ate there. Food was great, though, in large... More

Wonderful staff here enhances everything about the Atlantic, centrally located in Lahinch. Breakfasts were varied and plentiful. Only B&B we stayed at that had kippers on the menu. Very comfortable here and had an excellent dinner in their restaurant, with a small fire adding atmosphere and warmth to a cool evening.
