Our family room was dark and tiny, barely enough room to pass by each other. The bathroom however was enormous. The walls are paper thin, we could hear the conversation next door and above us with the added bonus of stomping feet from the room above. The bell at the front desk does not work - so you have to... I stayed as I have on previous occasions during the South of Ireland Golf Championship at this central and comfortable Hotel. I work with the G.U.I. during this week and it means up at 6 a.m. to get things ready for the competition at 7 a.m. The night porter offers me coffee or tea each morning but I have had... More

Perfectly nice place to stay with a very good restaurant. As previous reviews point out, rooms are clean and a bit on the smaller side, but hey, you're asleep! Restaurant seems to share staff with its sister hotel next door (Shamrock Inn) and they were a bit understaffed the second night we ate there. Food was great, though, in large... More

Wonderful staff here enhances everything about the Atlantic, centrally located in Lahinch. Breakfasts were varied and plentiful. Only B&B we stayed at that had kippers on the menu. Very comfortable here and had an excellent dinner in their restaurant, with a small fire adding atmosphere and warmth to a cool evening.

Revealing no hint of off-season doldrums this superb establishment was in full flow during my recent stay. Availing myself of competitive B&B rates I checked in for two nights at the start of April. My room was superb, looking out over the main street, furnished elegantly, all understated charm. Following a few beers in town,I checked out the bar menu at about 6.30PM on... More

Just returned from a wonderful stay at the Atlantic Hotel. We couldn't praise the hotel enough, the staff are great and they couldn't do enough for us, the food was excellent. The hotel is in a perfect location for touring the wider Clare area. We will definitely be back and that says it all!!

Stayed at this hotel as part of a group tour booking. It is an older establishment and is pretty tight and tiny in it's accommodations. Our room was on the top floor and getting luggage up and down the narrow stairs is not for the faint hearted. Our bathroom facilities did not work so well, basin and faucet broken, so... More

I spent a weekend with a group of friends at the lovely Atlantic Hotel just recently and was very impressed across the board. First and foremost, the team there is incredible. From check-in to check-out every interaction with them was really positive - very friendly, helpful and full of genuine west of Ireland warmth & hospitality. Every time we passed... More

A nice hotel located in the middle of town. A nice welcome and easy parking on arrival. The rooms were small, basic and maybe a little dated or vintage with an optimistic view. But it did the trick… The beach and Golf course are within 2-4 minutes walking distance and he cliffs of moher a 15min drive. Breakfast is served... More
