It'll keep it short and sweet. Stayed here on business, hotel is full of families with loud children, not ideal if you want a bit of peace and quiet. Elevators are a fair walk from reception, honestly, like 200m or so! Rooms are very 1990's, need a wee bit of TLC. The beds are solid as a rock, it felt... More

This hotel offers every possible amenity for families with children, the best part is it caters for families with 3 children ! (our room had a double bed and 3 singles so all were happy) :-) All staff are extremely friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you and your family are well looked after, it is this... More

so this is just in the road off the N18 great location as a base to explore the area. pretty sun room at entrance that have views out onto the surrounding countryside. we stayed here for a good price and went to the dromoland castle down the road, for a walk and a look around (this was free) without having... We stayed in a non refurbished family room for three nights. Room a good size and clean although there is not enough storage for clothes especially for two adults and two kids, only has four hangers in wardrobe. One of the days the duvet cover on the double bed had a rip in it so worthwhile to get housekeeping to... More

We stayed in the Dromoland Inn for a wedding over the weekend that took place in the nearby castle (what a shame we didn’t just go for broke and stay there instead). We checked in and were given a room on the third floor. After what felt like a half mile walk to the elevators, and an extra stop on... More

The upgraded rooms are fabulous. We had a beautiful view of the golf course and the mountains. Breakfast was delicious. There is also a wonderful gastro pub that has delicious food. Bar continued to serve hotel guests even if it was closed. Although the area is quieter then other places we saw, it is a good location to see sights... More

Ate here a couple of weeks ago. Really like what they have done with the place in terms of decor/menu but would agree with a previous poster in terms of food. Food was lacking in flavour and absolutely loaded with salt. The staff were very friendly but missed a trick in terms of the basics (i.e. clearing table and filling... More

Stayed one night on business. Arrived at 10.20 so too late for food unfortunately. Hotel was packed with coach trippers staying overnight but staff friendly and welcoming, even when I immediately locked all my keys in the room. Room was comfortable, good bathroom, no bath but wet room shower which I loved. Breakfast was nice and ticked all the boxes... More

Nice walk to Dromoland Castle for a drink before dinner and they have a bus run between the two hotels if you don't want to walk. Dinner at the Inn was exceptionally good and also verygood value. The folowing morning we again walked to have coffee... More
