We stayed at the Shannonside the last night we were in Ireland, prior to our morning flight out ot Shannon. The warmth of the hosts was just so welcoming and hospitable. Noel, helped my wife and I find the village, in County Clare, where my wife's great great grandmother had been born. The room was quiet, clean, and inviting. The... More

On the inside it is packed with quaint paraphernalia from a lifetime of business, including hundreds of thank-you cards from visitors. But although a bit cluttered and... More

They were our first exposure to Ireland over 10 years ago and definitely one of the reasons we love this beautiful country. We keep coming back as they are such lovely people. The location is great, the fact... More

Shannonside B&B: Convenient--to Shannon airport. Unique in that it features the incomparable Mary Tobin (Mary and Neal Tobin-proprietors) who will tell you, in a charming non-stop brogue-all about herself and her family. Neal will shepherd you into town, for a very reasonable fee, for dinner at the Weavers' Inn, a first-rate eating establishment. We stayed the first night as a... More
