Stayed at the Harbour Inn for three nights in September. Found the room to be quite comfortable, and large, very clean and the staff were most friendly and helpful. As some have mentioned, it is on a busy road, but is located directly across the street from the beach and lough. If you are driving, the location is most convenient.... More

This hotel is situated on an extremely busy road. There is plenty of parking, but this depends on what's going on in the pub that is adjacent to reception. Understandably if there is a function or big sports day, you may have difficulty finding a space. Access to the car park is in around the back of the Harbour Inn... More

We stayed here for 2 nights over the bank holiday weekend. We wrongly assumed that this hotel was in the town and near the harbour however as we like walking this was not a big issue for us - the only problem being there were no street lights for part of the walk back from town - so either take... This is a lovely motel not a hotel .the rooms are lovely and spacious ,the bathroom very clean and spotless.the only down side is the wifi which only works in the car park very strange.the restaurant next door is more of a over priced pub but the service is fast and the staff very nice.the buffet style breakfast was amazing... Stayed here for two nights, and liked it - definitely very convenient that it's an American-style 'motel' where you can park outside the room. Room was probably a bit dated, but spacious and SPOTLESS, really high standard of cleaning. Breakfast was fine and there's a beautiful beach right outside your front door. It's about a fifteen minute walk into Buncrana... More

We came to buncrana to play golf and finished at two. As we were eating in the evening we would only need a sandwich of some type. This place didn't do them as they "were too busy as it was a bank holiday"!!! There were two waitresses having a chat together and three people behind the bar looking for something... More

Dear Sir Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your recent visit to the Harbour Bar. I understand from your review that you were upset at not being able to order a sandwich after lunchtime. As you can understand once lunch is over our chefs were busy preparing for a very busy bank holiday evening service.... More

We stayed here for a few days last week,it was a spur of the moment as it was only booked a week before we visited. We stayed in a family room for 2 adults 3 children, the room was beautiful, spotless and huge with a massive bathroom. We ate in the bar a few times during our stay and found... More

Just a short update. My wife and I have stayed here at least 3-4 times since our 1st visit in 2008. Our last visit was over the past July weekend and again we were not disappointed. Great location, good value, brilliant food and drink with good entertainment on in the evenings. Still cant speak highly enough and we are already... More

I spent one night here on business. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is on a busy road so there was some traffic noise. The layout of the hotel is quite unusual in that the reception area is in one building and then the rooms are accessed via separate doors opening onto the car park. Thus checking in... More
