I stayed with my extended family, three generations of us, and we really enjoyed Glebe House and appreciated the hospitality. Breakfast was delicious, the grounds were well worth exploring, the price was reasonable, and the location perfect for exploring nearby Kinsale. Gill was a lovely host, and she went out of her way to be kind and helpful to the... More

We stayed at Glebe House with our little dog recently and absoutely loved it. Only booked it as it was dog friendly but was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful rooms and tasty breakfasts. The host Gill was extremely friendly and welcoming. We will certainly be back !

We stayed here in August 2013, whilst at a friends wedding close by. I stumbled across the house hotel whilst looking for hotels or B&B's close to inishannon. Upon your arrival you are given a warm welcome by the owner and brought into the drawing room for a cup of tea! The few rooms are spatious and comfortable, with a... More

Taking a short break, you will not find a more charming place to stay. It is old world yet modern in all its amenities. Caroline and Jill will not be bettered anywhere as hosts. Every whim is catered for. The food is excellent and believe me I like my food. Beds are extremely comfortable and one can definitely sleep well... More

I'm just back from Glebe house where I stayed for the weekend with 18 of my close friends for my hen party. The place was amazing... wcouldn't ask for more! We had "afternoon tea", activities on the grounds, pizza in their wood fired oven, off to Kinsale for dancing, back to Glebe for a sing song, and a super breakfast... More

We stayed at this B&B while touring Cork and Kerry. It was a great B&B with large rooms, a very friendly and chatty host and the most amazing breakfast. The ensuite bathroom was a little dated but all in working order and clean. We were given the number of a local taxi who brought us to nearby Kinsale for some... More

While we enjoyed our stay at this lodge insofar as the hosts were truely charming and very helpful and breakfast was always good, they do need to invest in the property itself especially in the two bedrooms on the lower level of the main house. The rooms felt damp and wet and were uncomfortable to stay in. Again, the house... More

Beautiful country house with lovely gardens We travelled as a family group with a small child.Gill made us feel very welcome. We were greeted with tea and homemade biscuits in the lovely sitting room. The upstairs bedrooms we had were clean, comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was lovely with a great choice. The homemade waffles were great.

We stayed in the upstairs loft apartment for a week in July and we had very mixed feelings about the place. Access to the apartment is up steep, irregular stone steps, ducking wet, overgrown bushes. Bit tricky in the rain. The apartment itself is very much in need of a renovation. In particular the carpet is old, shabby and in multiple... More
