My wife and I took our two children ages 15 and 17 on a 16 day trip to Ireland. The Tides was an absolutely first class experience from the owners to the breakfast to the beds / furniture in our room. It is located a short distance outside of the town / beach which was great as it was very... More

This was a great place to stay. The place is bright, with lots of windows, light hardwood floors, high ceilings, and very nice furniture and decorations. The bathrooms are big, the shower is excellent, plenty of hot water, good towels, a bathtub if you want, and again, very nicely decorated. The breakfast was excellent, parking is plentiful and private, and... More

The Tides Guesthouse was one if our better hotel/ B&B stays while we were in Ireland. First and foremost, the rooms and house are very clean. However for my wife and I, that is a fairly basic expectation. The items that made this guesthouse outstanding were the following: The bathroom was large and probably had the best shower of any... We booked this based on the reviews we read here. We stayed here for one night in a family room for 2 adults and 2 pre-school children in August 2013. The room was modern and specced-out to a very high standard; the food the next morning was tasty and generous; and the owners provide a very warm and sincere welcome.... More
