This is truly an exquisite guest house under first class management. Our room was immaculately clean, large, modern and bright and although it faced to the front of the house and the main road to Ballybunion from Listowel, noise was never an issue. David clearly cares for his guests and is a fund of information about local attractions and even... More

We booked the TIdes in sad circumstances to attend a family funeral but we had an warm welcome and were superbly looked after by David. The room was amazing and the beds and bedding very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and we loved our chats with the owner. We would love to come back in happier times .

Came to Ballybunnion with a few buddies for a golf trip. Travel plans changed last minute and David was able to to fit us in at the Tides. Cut a deal for us to stay in one of the suites -- absolutely incredible. Room was gorgeous and clean and the beds were super comfortable. Lovely lounge downstairs is like a... More

Absolutely enjoyed our stay at The Tides. The accommodation was five stars! We brought our 16 year old son and he also enjoyed the spacious rooms, the massage chair and what should be termed "world famous" crepes! Dave and Doreen were phenomenal hosts! Our morning itinerary reviews were always spot on with additional information that we would never have considered.... More

The Tides is a bit far from town but the service and rooms far exceeded any other B&B. John, the owner, went out of his way to make our stay wonderful. Try the pancakes at breakfast they were delicious! I would highly recommend the Tides if you find yourself in Ballybunion!

We stayed 3 days in July and we can't say enough great things about "The Tides." We were impressed by how clean, spacious, and comfy our room was. Our host David and Doreen delivered, and the breakfast was top rate...try the pancakes!! A must stay!

We stayed in room 3 with our 6 year old and couldn't have been happier. The room was beautiful and so was the service! We were able to gaze at stars through the sky light together at night and enjoy the amazing view from our window during the day. The room was very spacious for the three of us, well... More

Brilliant service, friendly and professional staff. You would be hard pressed to find accommodation like it in a 5 star hotel. Never a problem arranging a round of golf at the last minute and only five minutes drive to the beach, what more could you ask for.
