We happened on The Tides. We do not golf, but it is run by one of Ireland's premier golfers; who is about the nicest and friendliest person you will ever want to meet. The price is higher than normal, but the accommodations are quite luxurious. Large rooms with a sitting area, TV. The bathrooms is huge with shower and tub.... More

Loved Tides B&B. Service was great, the room was phenomenal. Everything was super clean, felt fresh, and the room was super spacious. We were done with Ballybunion but wanted to find more to do to justify staying another night. Breakfast isn't free like Trip Advisor states, but worth every penny and then some. Highly recommend Tides.

Travelling with a friend on a driving trip around Ireland. Fabulous accommodation, spacious, tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and yummy breakfast. Conveniences such as places to put our heavy suitcases and great shelving and hooks in the very large bathroom were also really appreciated. It's the little things that really make a differenc. Would definitely recommend.

Very comfortable and perfectly situated guest house. Breakfast each morning was a treat. David and Doreen are lovely hosts who bend over backwards to be helpful. My husband & I stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our time at the Tides immensely! Highly recommended!!!

OUTSTANDING No issues fantastic place. Always willing to help and direct. A LAUNDRY service(at a cost of course but most important) good food. Not a golf person but if your into golf I would say ++++ I enjoyed his ability to somehow make bill Clinton look good which is a big ask. Ken

Seven family members were traveling together in Ireland to visit relatives and see the country. We chose The Tides in Ballybunion since family lived in the area and 4 of our group are avid golfers. We spent 2 nights at The Tides and can't say enough about it. We were treated royally by David, who just happened to be friends... More

Tides is a 5 star establishment in all aspects. The room was huge with walk in wardrobe, large comfy bed and brilliant rainfall shower. Breakfast freshly cooked and hosts coped very well with my serious food allergies. Tides was the best accommodation we stayed in on the whole trip to Western Ireland which included some large hotels. None of them could... More

Spent two nights at The Tides in mid-May with my two sons. Two large, clean, modern rooms with great beds, pillows, showers, etc. David Walsh is a very genial host - he was very flexible in getting us early (good!) breakfasts and had good advice re. restaurants, golf and travel. Would definitely stay at The Tides again and highly recommend... More
