If you are golfing the famed Ballybunnion Links Kilcooly's is the place you should stay! John's welcome, did I mention his complimentary room upgrade and hospitality are second too none! The real Irish experience includes the locals and with Kilcoolys you are in town right next to Bill Clintons statue. The rooms, food and bar were first rate for service, experience... More

We went to a family wedding, beautiful hotel, great food, we didnt stay because they were fuly booked, but from what i saw of the lounge the rooms must be good. The wedding was hosted really well, the wedding breakfast was amazing, the band great and overall great day. A lovely place to hold an event/wedding

Called and booked a table prior to going for dinner that evening only to be told there was no table booked for us..........however the member of staff who greeted us in the restaurant managed to squeeze us on a table. Stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed the experience. John, the owner, went out of his way to be helpful and make us feel welcome. The rooms are quite large and tastefully decorated with many antique pieces. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. We had an early tee time the next morning and John got up... More

I was fortunate to join a golf group for a stay June 10-11 at Kilcooly's Country House in Ballybunion, County Kerry, Ireland. John and Joan Kilcooly are accommodating hosts and genuinely nice people. My room was spacious, clean and had a wonderful country B & B feel. The bathroom was classy and immaculate. Breakfasts were delicious and dinner in the... More

What a beautiful, comfortable and companionable place. We loved our room. It was a perfect location for golf at Ballybunion. And the owners, John and Joan O'Connor were just fun, interesting people. John introduced Len to Irish Whiskeys he'd never tried (all the while giving us the history of the Country House and the political climate of the area). When... More

The staff at Kilcooly's made our stay quite comfortable... the accommodations, food and location were ideal. Although we don't get "across the pond" from Canada that often, if we do get the opportunity, we would stay here again in a heartbeat!
