Reception didn't want to honour booking.com price. Room totally different to what's showed on website. Bathroom had a cladding ceiling which looked like it was falling down. Kept awake all night. Breakfast was ok

We stayed here for one night, had to wait almost an hour for our room as the hotel had no record of our booking with booking.com. An unpleasant manager practically called me a liar, because he said there was no such thing as the price I was quoted by booking.com. He needs to get his hospitality manner and his facts... More

Having had the displeasure of staying here with my boyfriend last weekend where we did little else but moan about this hotel, a full review was called for. We booked a cheap deal via Groupon. The website showed that the hotel was far from modern however the 'deluxe' room seemed to be decent so on seeing the shabby exterior of... More

Arrived here via a Groupon voucher - after struggling to find somewhere to park - and was messed around with the disabled access but eventually got in. Using the lift is a test of patience as it is terribly slow (and cramped). Met one poor fella who had been trying for 30 minutes to get into his room while his... More

We picked this hotel for a romantic weekend getaway after visiting their website which presents this place as a "golf resort" hotel with fantastic photos of the surrounding beaches and cliffs and many options to dine. Should have been skeptical that there is not one photo on the website that shows the hotel. The building is a 5 storey concrete... More

The room (no. 307) itself was ok - basic but functional, spacious, bright and clean. The bathroom was dated and the taps for the sink didn't turn on fully. No tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel is a throwback to a bygone era, I doubt much has changed in the last 40 years. The room looked onto a side street with... More

This Hotel is ideally located beside the Beach and in the Hub of the Main Street so Location-wise it is great. The Staff are very friendly and helpful bot at Reception and The Breakfast Area too. Rooms are Clean/Basic/Comfortable but there are No Tea and Coffee making facilities which would be a nice touch, I know that times have been... More

Enjoyed our stay in ballybunion. On arrival the blonde receptionist was ever so friendly and made us feel right at home straight away chatting to our children and offering us advise about the town /hotel. . The room was suited to our needs and had a fantastic view of the Atlantic, an absolute joy to wake up to. The children... More

Stayed in this hotel recently .The staff are very nice and friendly .. Breakfast nice fresh and tasty , but the background music at breakfast is so loud that you feel you should get up and dance .. maybe soft piano like Phil Coulter for example would be better ... My other negative would be the entrance to Hotel .... More
