The room (no. 307) itself was ok - basic but functional, spacious, bright and clean. The bathroom was dated and the taps for the sink didn't turn on fully. No tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel is a throwback to a bygone era, I doubt much has changed in the last 40 years. The room looked onto a side street with... More

There was No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. There was no phone in the room. When the electricity was not... More

This Hotel is ideally located beside the Beach and in the Hub of the Main Street so Location-wise it is great. The Staff are very friendly and helpful bot at Reception and The Breakfast Area too. Rooms are Clean/Basic/Comfortable but there are No Tea and Coffee making facilities which would be a nice touch, I know that times have been... More

Enjoyed our stay in ballybunion. On arrival the blonde receptionist was ever so friendly and made us feel right at home straight away chatting to our children and offering us advise about the town /hotel. . The room was suited to our needs and had a fantastic view of the Atlantic, an absolute joy to wake up to. The children... More

Stayed in this hotel recently .The staff are very nice and friendly .. Breakfast nice fresh and tasty , but the background music at breakfast is so loud that you feel you should get up and dance .. maybe soft piano like Phil Coulter for example would be better ... My other negative would be the entrance to Hotel .... More

We stayed just one night in this hotel on a Deal Rush deal - €49 room only. We got what we paid for. The hotel is an absolute eyesore - 5 floors in a town of buildings mostly no higher than 2 storey so it really stands out and I really cannot understand how they got planning permission. It's modern.... More

First time in ballybunion. The hotel is very close to the beach with great views of the sea. The restaurant is at the last floor with spectacular views and good food. Best of all, the staff - welcoming, nice and helpful. We'll definitely come back.

Myself & my boyfriend stayed at this hotel for one night after purchasing a deal on Groupon. While the staff were lovely and very accommodating (gave us late check out and a room with a sea view free of charge), I found everything else about this hotel very average. Hotel was hard to find, I assumed because of its title... More
