We have been to Ireland 10 times, and wish this gem was found years ago. The gourmet breakfast was the best in the country. Accomodations were great as well as the owners Gerry and Anne. Close to Bunnraty and Shannon Airport. Keep up the great work. more
Clover Hill is situated only a short distance from Bunratty Castle and Folk park and the famous Durty Nelly's yet amazingly quiet and peaceful. I'm confused by all the rave reviews of this b&b. It's quite a ways down the road from Bunratty and is not walkable at all. I felt uncomfortable almost the entire stay probably since the first thing I saw in the bathroom was a sign telling me to not take off makeup using the towels. The breakfast was very good... more
We were incredibly lucky to find Clover Hill Lodge at the last minute. The owner, Anne Nash, made the best breakfast we ate on the whole trip, and she also set up an insulated bag with juice and milk so that my sister, who a VERY early flight, could have a nice breakfast before 6:00AM. The Clover Hill Lodge, just down the Low Road from Bunratty Castle is a beautiful place to stay. The proprietress, Anne Nash, is a wonderful hostess and provides a great breakfast.
