Cannot say enough wonderful things about this B&B! Diedra was so gracious and welcoming to us from the moment we arrived until the moment we said goodbye. She made my family like we we were friends visiting, not paying guests. The room was beautiful with very comfortable beds and the shower was amazing! Definitely must try the French toast! My... More

Virginia and Terry McGrew of Melbourne, Florida, USA My wife, myself and our great granddaughter stayed here on our first night in Ireland. We drove directly from Dublin to AVAREST and had no difficulty finding it. We were greeted by Deidre on our arrival. She made us feel welcome and very special, like old friends. The stay was the best... More

Diedra was a perfect host. When you arrive you immediately feel like you are at home. She personally attends to you, to the point of even pampering you. Personalized service that I would never experience in a commercial hotel. She has a very nice way of welcoming you. It is no wonder that this family enterprise has been in successful... More

Warm, helpful hosts, great breakfast to order and a very well kept and comfortable home. Also good wifi and a lounge with coffee for early risers. Stayed for 2 nights to visit Bunratty and nearby places with 2 children and would happily recommend.

My husband and I stayed here in October along with friends of ours from the US for two nights. We were given a very warm welcome by Freddie when we arrived and shown to our rooms, which were beautiful. We had 2 king size rooms and both were very comfortable. The B&B is a couple of miles away from Bunratty... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Avarest. Deirdre couldn't have been more helpful. She gave us great suggestions for dinner and hosted a wonderful breakfast for us. We really enjoyed the opportunity to be able to chat with her. Avarest is a little bit off the beaten track but not too far from Shannon Airport. We'd... More

Avarest was a little off the main road but a delightful place to stay. The host and hostess were very helpful and offered recommendations on places in the vicinity to visit. Breakfast was cooked to our liking and was served in a delightful dining area in the beautiful house. I would highly recommend staying at Avarest if you are in... More

Avarest was a lovely bed abd breskfast near both Bunratty as well as the Shannon airport. It was very clean and accomodating. The beds were comfortable with quality bedding. Deidre was very friendly and helpful. She let us drop our bags early in the morning and store them in our room. I would highly recommend Avarest!

We stayed just one night at Avarest but we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our hostess shared her knowledge of the area with us which helped us. The property is set in a beautiful area and the room was large and well appointed. The breakfast was varied and well prepared and served.
