A friend recently stayed here and recommended it to us - great decision to stay! Delores is warm, personable, funny and a great hostess. Felt like we were staying with an old friend; greeted warmly when we arrived and sent off with a hug when we left! Yes, there is a lot of bric-a-brac throughout the house, but everything was... We stayed here just for one night while attending a rugby match in Limerick. Hosts were a joy to deal with typical good humoured Irish country people, even if himself IS a Dub. Nice cosy atmosphere great breakfast ,plenty of choice. Just down the road from the castle and durty nellies pub. Couple of minutes from Limerick ,What more would... More

we have just come back after our London Irish under 14's tour, 5 of the us dads stayed here for 3 nights, the place is spotless!!!!!!!! the beds are like a 5* hotel, the lining etc etc. Deloris is a wonderful woman, we could not have been made more welcome and relaxed, I am not one for B&B's, but this... Yes, as Melody D says, there is "clutter", but I love clutter and Delores is such a darling that we would continue to return here. She is a real character and makes such an effort with her guests, even putting hot water bottles in your bed on cold nights - this is what Irish hospitality is all about and we... More

This guesthouse or B & B is everything that an overnight in an Irish home should have - in a rural setting, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast and a most friendly and helpful hostess. This is a real, genuine, Irish B & B and sets the barometer high for every other proprietor in the way she looks after her guest. Highly... More

What a lovely surprise was in store for us. We just wanted a nice, peaceful get away and what we got was first class service and hospitality. Our room was absolutely beautiful, each of the rooms has a theme and ours was Ireland. Breakfast was scrumptious, with all the extras, Delores is a wonderful hostess with knowledge of the areas... We stayed here for part of our Ireland vacation, intending to use the place as a jumping-off point for Galway, the Cliffs of Moher, and other sites in the vicinity. We were NOT disappointed with our choice. Bunratty Castle Mews is charming, eclectically-decorated, and the proprietor Dolores O'Toole is a national treasure. Breakfast options abound, from cold cereals, fruit, yogurt,... More

If you want bland open space, don't stay at a B&B and don't stay here. Get a hotel and enjoy boring. Filled with character and personality, my girlfriends and I loved this place close to the village's main attractions. Delores is a charming and vibrant woman, and generously took us to the pub so we wouldn't have to walk. The... More

When I walked into the b&b, I was overwhelmed by the amount of clutter.. absolutely everywhere. The room was okay, but I was frustrated by an inability to easily access my luggage due to space constrictions from clutter there as well. The bathroom is super small and we had to open the window when we showered because it did not... More

I stayed here for 2 nights while on a motorcycle trip with a group of girls. Dolores was a hoot, greeted us warmly, making sure we had fresh water and everything in our room was to our liking. There are a lot of rooms which is great for large groups travelling together and we had no problem fitting 18 girls... More
