I stayed here one night at the weekend and it was a really lovely (albeit short) stay. Breakfast was lovely with lots to choose from and Dolores kindly dropped us to the hotel the next morning so that we didn't have to get a taxi. Highly recommended !

We asked for a twin room and were pleasantly surprised to have a room with two double beds. We received a very warm, friendly welcome. There is a very wide choice of hot and cold for breakfast, a small bar for early evening drinks, a lounge for guests and a fridge for the use of guests. Overall highly recommended.

We stayed here on our last night. Its a great B&B, hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. We wish we could have spent more time here. Its just down the road from Bunratty castle and several restaurant/pubs.

For the record this is our third time staying with Dolores at the Mews in six years and it always feels the same. Fantastic ! Aside from the great breakfast spread every morning, Dolores goes out of her way to make sure you have all your plans made and sights visited on your Holiday. When we made mention we were... More

Stayed here with friends and had a wonderful time. The rooms were very different one has an African theme these were spotless with tea and coffee facilities and a great shower, the bed was really comfortable and we both had a great nights sleep. The b & b is perfectly situated for Shannon airport where we collected our friends late... More

We recently stayed at Bunratty Castle Mews with 2 adults and our 2 grown boys. Dolores was so welcoming and charming, it was like visiting an old friend. She was very helpful and we found out about how this place was originally a nunnery. Great place to stay while visiting Bunratty Castle.

A very warm wellome . The rooms are are different and very nicely decorated. Dolores helps where she can and gives very good advice whats best to see. The building itself is very interesting. To explore Bunratty, tge Cliffs of Moher or even the Burren and the Westcoast is very easy to to from thee base in Castle Mews. Buratty... More

Having booked the Bunratty Castle Mews based on previous reviews, we couldn't wait to meet Dolores! Although we arrived late at night we were greeted with a friendly welcome before being shown to our room. The room was comfortable and we had a lovely night's sleep. On waking we were astounded to see the array of breakfast items available even... More

On arrival no one answered the door so we had to leave again and come back an hour later. This time we were also left standing out side for some time, eventually a young man answered and showed us to our rooms. The B&B has all amenities, breakfast was very impressive however the owner is extremely rude. I was accused... More

So 13May2013 you were disappointed, first let me apologize for the delay in you getting into our house and I am glad you liked our breakfast and amenities but the point of this review seems to be with me pointing out to you what you had done which was to book a king room for a single person and turned... I would go back just to spend some more time with Dolores....what a character! She was sharp and witty and as a previous preview mentioned - we left with a hug and a kiss. Breakfast had the usual (fabulous) and then there were the cakes and buns and scones all freshly baked. We had not booked in advance, so that's... More
