First of all, ignore all the negative reviews about this hotel. It is a gem, a true hidden treasure in County Clare. It is much more than a bed and breakfast, it is a home for all those who stay there. We were there over the Christmas holidays and it was the perfect place to stay. It felt like home... More

I recently stayed here on NYE as my flight home was departing from Shannon the next morning. Upon arrival, we welcomed with open arms and Dolores was very sweet in helping us get into our room and letting us know about where to go for dinner and what time to head out on the busy NYE evening. We had a... More

Doloures runs the most incredible B&B in Bunratty. Spotlessly clean! Great rooms - themed differently - very comfortable! I rented the entire house for guests at my wedding at Dromoland Castle and everyone commented how incredible the mews was. Excellent breakfasts. Short walk to centre of village - great honest Irish hospitality in great location!

We stayed here for one night to attend a wedding. We had the Audrey Hepburn room which is lush and the bed and bedding was extremely comfortable! Dolores is a very warm host and she suggested we have a late breakfast after our late night! Which was very much appreciated! Breakfast was lovely - fresh breads, nice cheeses, fruit and... More

Such a fun evening- we only stayed one night but had a great experience! We went to the banquet at the castle and Durty Nellys for fun local music, we really enjoyed our evening. The B & B could not have been better. Clean and cozy. We didn't have breakfast because we stayed out so late the night before! We... More

As a group of 3 couples we stayed with Delores & her lovely husband at their Bed & Breakfast over the weekend of 9th > 11th October & it was memorable !. The "Mews" was once accommodation for a group of Nun's - but this is no convent ! Delores has decorated their home with lots and lots items collected... More

Bunratty Castle Mews had a difficult task to achieve in starting and ending our most recent trip to Ireland. After 7 previous trips of staying at another B&B which we loved, we were unable to stay there due to the retirement last year of our lovely host & hostess (the Tobins of Shannonside). We also needed a place we could... More

I stayed here one night at the weekend and it was a really lovely (albeit short) stay. Breakfast was lovely with lots to choose from and Dolores kindly dropped us to the hotel the next morning so that we didn't have to get a taxi. Highly recommended !

We asked for a twin room and were pleasantly surprised to have a room with two double beds. We received a very warm, friendly welcome. There is a very wide choice of hot and cold for breakfast, a small bar for early evening drinks, a lounge for guests and a fridge for the use of guests. Overall highly recommended.
