We travel to Ireland yearly and always without fail stay at Innisfree both arriving and leaving. Innisfree is about 10- 15 minutes from Shannon Airport, located behind the Bunratty Castle. Mel, the hostess, welcomes early morning visitors which is wonderful as guests can catch up on the sleep they missed on the flight. Mel is always a warm and welcoming... more

Innisfree is a great place to stay, beautiful home, rooms are large and calming. The host is warm and friendly . Innisfree is in a great location, close to Shannon Airport and close to the Blarney Woolen Mill, Dirty Nellys( a great old well know historic pub) and right next to Bunratty Castle as well. We loved the central location... more

I've been staying with Mel for the last six years before I fly out of Shannon back to the States. She cares so much about her guests and their comfort. The last time I stayed with her, she warmed up my bed as soon as I checked in so I could relax in coziness before I tucked in for the... more

This B&B is so lovely and so convenient. If you arrive in Shannon in the early a.m., Innisfree is only a short drive. If you are coming from the US, this is a Godsend since you have to drive on the opposite side of the road and you're tired so the straight run up to Bunratty is perfect. The rooms... more

This was a beautiful property that overlooks a beautiful countryside. The hostess was warm and friendly and provided good information about what to expect in the area. As first-time travelers to Ireland, we appreciated all the advice we could receive! The room was clean and very well kept and comfortable. The B & B is close to the sites in... more

My daughter booked me and a friend into Innisfree, based on cost and internet reviews. we were thrilled with her choice. Innisfree is welcoming, comfortable, and close to a number of County Clare attractions. We were made very welcome and given detailed navigation instructions to get us to places of interest. We stayed for 5 days, were allowed to play... more

My husband and I have enjoyed the hospitality of Innisfree B&B four times, since 2006. We always fly to the Shannon Airport and appreciate the short drive. Upon arrival, we are met at the door with a warm welcome (no matter how early we arrive) a clean room, comfortable bed, and a hearty breakfast. I especially enjoy the beautiful garden... more

We arrived for our Bunratty Mid Evil dinner just in time to check in, change clothes and off we went. The room was very neat and clean and I thought the bathroom bigger than most in the B & B's we had stayed in. Mel's husband was very helpful providing information on where we could purchase a new tire for... more

After spending quite a bit of time overseas, Innsfree is a welcome addition to our travels abroad! The hospitality of the owner is a welcome addition to being "away from home!" Cleanliness, food and over all ambiance is a welcome addition to any vacation! Would definitely stay at this B&B on our next trip and would definitely recommend it to... more

We returned to Innisfree to refresh ourselves after our long flight. Our room was ready and waiting for us, to settle in and relax before we headed out for some sightseeing. It felt wonderful to take a nap and have a snack and hot tea before hand. Mel was her usual gracious hostest. We had arranged to stay with her... more
