This B&B was like home from home. We were in Bunratty for a wedding and couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. Penny is wonderful, we felt like we were old acquaintances. The food was great and the accommodation was second to none. I will be looking for an excuse to go to Clare again soon. Full marks Penny. more

We spent our last evening in Ireland at the Dunaree B&B located just down the street from Bunratty castle. Great location, wonderful hostess and beautiful clean room. Breakfast was excellent and hospitality to match. Very near to the Shannon airport (10 minutes) and easy access with parking on site. Look forward to coming back again soon! Right down the road... more

Lovely country B&B. Close to Bunratty castle, but you may want to drive it at night. A very dark road. Excellent breakfast and charming breakfast room. No TVs in rooms, but a very comfortable sitting room with large flat screen. Not too close to any major action, but a lovely restaurant and a pub nearby. more

Our family stayed in several B&B's during our trip to Ireland and Dunaree was by far the best! We felt like part of the family. Our room had a wonderful view; the furnishings were lovely and the bed was soooo comfy!! The lounge area was very inviting and Penny's breakfast was delicious! Try the French toast, yum!! We attended the... more

We stayed at Dunaree for one night only but regreted not staying longer. Penny is a perfect host. We arrived very late but that was no problem for Penny, she made us a cup of tea and gave us some of her delicious home made scones. When we go back we will definatly stay longer. more

We stayed here one night and we were very happy we did so! This B&B is a 5-10 min. walk to Bunratty Castle and folk park which makes it a great location if you are going to the dinner or want to spend some time in the local pub as you can just walk. The breakfast was one of the... more

Penny is a lovely host; her house is beautiful and immaculate. She even offered to drive us to our evening appointment as the weather was a bit 'soft'! But what my daughter and I will always remember is the fantastic breakfast that was made to order! Just perfect! more

Really nice place to stay. The have a comfortable lounge where you can sit and relax or watch a DVD. In the dining room you are able to make yourself coffee or tea at any given moment and you may cool your own cans of beer in the fridge!!! Bed- and batthrooms were spacious and clean. The full Irish breakfast... more

My husband and stayed at Dunaree for our final night in Ireland before departing Shannon the next day. We LOVED Dunaree. It is a beautiful, immaculate home and Penny is a wonderful host. We arrived a bit late and she graciously left us the key in an envelope by the front door and invited us to go ahead and get... more
