We stayed at Dunaree for our first night in Ireland. This is a beautiful home and Penny was very accommodating both during and before our visit. We enjoyed the Irish Music show at Bunratty the night we arrived and touring the castle and folk park the next day. The price is very reasonable and the breakfast was great. I would... More

We spent our last two nights in Ireland at the Dunaree B&B. The Dunaree is a warm, comfortable, beautiful B&B...a fitting end to our Ireland visit. The accommodations were excellent, breakfast was very good (great coffee), and Penny offered great sightseeing suggestions for our last two days in Ireland. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again and would heartily recommend... More

The Dunaree is a very comfortable B&B close to the Bunratty Folk Park and a short ride to Shannon Airport as well as the shopping mall in Shannon town. The hosts are very accommodating going out of their way to help with online check-in for our flight. Penny was also willing to prepare an early breakfast to make sure we... More

We were taking friends back to the SHannon Airport and decided to stop by Bunratty and stay over. As it was September, we went without a reservation and we're lucky enough to get the last two rooms in this really lovely B&B. Penny and Kevin are wonderful hosts, the breakfast selections were exceptional and delicious. We are so glad that... More

Upon arriving had a lovely welcome from Penny, our rooms were very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great, choice of meal with fresh cut up fruit, yogurts, the list goes on. We were made to feel very welcome and used the lounge numerous occasions, felt like being home. Penny was a great host checking to make sure all was well,... More

I picked Dunaree for the night before our Shannon departure back to the States. I thought the accommodations in Shannon looked uninviting. Bunratty looked much better. Dunaree is located just up the street from Bunratty Castle and Folk Park - it's totally walkable, but be careful as the road is narrow and the cars are moving fast. This is the... More

We stayed in B & B's for one week and this was by far our favorite. It is a beautiful house on the inside and out. If you are able, stand at the second floor landing (by the bedrooms) and look out the window by the stairs. What a gorgeous view of the fields and horses grazing across the street.... More

We stayed a night at Dunaree. It's a beautiful house with a lovely garden/driveway. It is ideal if you are visiting Bunratty Castle/Durty Nelly's Pub as it's located at about a 10 minute walk from there. The showers are great, but noisy and actually woke us up early the next morning... The garden's creatures know the rooms are comfortable too,... More

We visited this B&B in September during some great Irish weather. The room was spacious and clean. Everything was in working order. Penny, the owner, was fantastic and serves a great breakfast. Her scones were the best we had during our 10 day trip. The location is great as well. It is withinn a short walk to Bunratty Castle and... More

The location to Bunratty Castle is great and Penny was a lovely hostess. The breakfast was yummy and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The only downside is that wifi is limited to the common areas, but it worked fine there. I recommend this B&B and would stay there again. Be sure to check out Durty Nelly's at night!
