Frank and Sheila were the best hosts. They welcomed us with Irish coffee, and set around the kitchen and talked with us, made us feel really welcomed. Lovely home in the country, comfortable rooms, clean bathrooms. Sheila's brown soda bread and scones were delicious. When the bus dropped us off at Bunratty Castle, we began the 3/4-mile walk up the street to Ashgrove. A car heading the other direction stopped and asked, "Are you Tracy?" This charming B&B is just a half mile or so from the famous Bunratty Castle. It felt more like my husband and I were staying with family friends which was unexpected.
