Of all the B&B’s we stayed in on our eight day trip to Ireland this one was the best. The house was lovely, in a peaceful setting, and our room was spacious and comfortable. The hostess, Trish, was very warm and welcoming. She provided our room with an electric tea pot and selection of nice teas. A quiet cup of... More

Briar Lodge was easy to reach and in a good location close to Bunratty Caslte & Folk Park. The host, Trish, was very friendly and accommodating and even did us a favour of washing our laundry for us. The breakfast was absolutely incredible and the room was comfortable, beautiful and very clean. Coffee and tea was available in the room... More

We stayed at Briar Lodge the night before flying back to the U.S.A. out of Shannon Airport. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and Trish visited with us for several minutes before recommending shopping and places to eat. She also showed us how to use the shower. The en-suite room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a hot shower the... More

Briar Lodge was the final B&B I stayed in during my ten day trip and it was lovely. Beautiful location and loved my room and how comfortable I felt. Trish is fantastic. She helped me plan some activities and chatted with me when I just wanted to hang out at the house. I was traveling alone and she made me... More

Stayed at Briar Lodge June 2014 with 7 other family members. Trish was an absolute sweetheart! Home was immaculate, with nice sized rooms and very comfortable. It was one of my favorite places we stayed during our time in Ireland. Enjoyed the home cooked food and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay again if I ever... This B&B was our last stay before flying out the next am. The hostess greeted us at the door and was very friendly. She helped us make plans for the day (what to see, places for dinner, a pub with some good music). The B&B was beautiful and very comfortable (the bed was the most comfortable of the 5 accommodations... More

My husband and I based ourselves at Briar's Lodge for 3 nights while exploring County Clare, County Limerick and part of County Kerry. Everything was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious with a range of choices. Briar's Lodge is set in a quiet location, off the beaten track but not far from anything. Hostess, Trish goes the extra mile to... More

My wife & I found Trish, the owner of Briar Lodge, very welcoming & helpful. Room was small but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent! A little hard to find (especially at night) so I would advise to get good directions from hostess or to get GPS coordinates (not just the address). Location was excellent - very close to... More

My mom and I recently stayed at the Briar Lodge B&B and received wonderful service from Trish and her family. She was kind enough to give us a lift into town and pick us up again later in the evening since she could tell we were exhausted from driving all day. The room was very large and very comfortable. She... More
