We stayed at Bunratty Castle Hotel on 24th/25th February, The receptionist was very welcoming, and very obliging as later she connected my tablet to the WiFi. Could not understand how TV3 was not available on the TV in the bedroom, as it was on in the bar. I asked two different people working there and no one knew. In 'Kathleen's... More

Expected better for a four star hotel. Food and service in bar very poor. Had to ask waitress several times for our order and she kept forgetting to come back with drinks and cutlery. Bed one of the worst I've ever slept in. The only good thing about this hotel is the lovely spa. Hotel badly needs updating.

Stayed in this hotel from 5th feb until the 8th of feb. Hotel was lovely. Although when I walked into my room there was a smell, my partner and I described the smell as a smell of bums. The room was lovely with a huge bed and room service everyday with fresh towels and loo roll. I attended a wedding... More

3star hotel with the ambience of a 5 star. Stop on the 4th floor on a Junior Executive Suite complete with lounge area, and a huge superfine bed. Flatscreen TV, I expected some uk channels but only sky news. Free wifi was acceptable. Had breakfast in the executive room, and the downstairs one. Preferred downstairs one to be honest. In... Stayed here while on business in Shannon. Lovely hotel. Had dinner in the bar on the first night which was very nice. If I would have one complaint the bar staff tended to go missing for periods and weren't particularly engaging. On the second night we are down the hill in the bar beside the castle - well worth the... More
