Glenorney by the Sea provided us with a bit of luxury, loads of hospitality, great breakfasts, and a teriffic location overlooking Tramore Bay near Waterford. This spot was central to a beautiful walking/hiking path and the colorful resort village of Tramore. There is also a golf course right across the street and a driving range a block away. The Murphys... More

We stayed at Glenorney by the Sea for three days (March 2013). Marie and her husband run a very nice B&B. Our rooms were very clean and had beautiful views. Breakfast was delicious! I, personally loved Marie's Irish Soda Bread; my husband loved Marie's banana bread :) We would highly recommend Glenorney!

We stayed at Glenorney by the Sea for three days in October and it was terrific. Marie runs a clean, friendly B&B and serves really delicious breakfast. It's a good base for day trips to the some beautiful sights in the area

Of all of the places that we stayed in Ireland (including some very fancy hotels & a castle), this was our favorite. The rooms were clean and bright and our hosts were so welcoming. The breakfast was out of this world, I had the French toast It was very sweet (like desert) and sooooo good. Our hosts pointed us to... More

Loved it. Hostess was friendly, the view was fantastic, and it wasn't too far of a walk into town. The walk back from town was a bit uphill, but nothing too bad and it was worth it for the great view. The room also had water, coffee, and biscuits when we got there.

We stayed at the GLENORNEY BY THE SEA from 19 Oct 2012 to 22 Oct 2012 Marie was an awesome Host with an infectious smile. She reminded me of my grandmother, very sweet and loving. She made us feel at home from the moment we got there. Her home was very warm and inviting. Our room, and the whole house... More

My husband and I stayed five nights at Glenorney and this was our first ever stay at a B&B. We were greeted by Marie and made to feel very welcome in her home. The bed was comfy, bedroom spotless and had the use of the lounge if we wished. What can I say about the breakfast?...other than it was hot,... More

We just spent the past weekend in Ireland for a short break. We flew from our local airport in Southend-on-Sea, UK, which now offers direct flights to Waterford and Dublin. We selected Waterford for this particular weekend. We searched B&Bs in the local area and decided on the Glenorney by the Sea in Tramore, which was a very good choice... More

Our stay at Glenorney by the sea was terrific. The home was warm, the owners were kind, very clean and an amazing view! Great breakfast. Easy to drive into town. Close to Waterford Ireland and short drive. Close to the ocean. I would highly recommend this B & B.

In our recent trip to Ireland we stayed in 6 B&Bs. All were excellent buy Glenorney won the blue ribbon. The rooms are spacious and spotless. The gardens are impecible and the view is breath taking. Above all the house is decorated with the best furniture and accoutrements and the propritors are warm and gracious.
