to be fair the Hotel is nice, but far from Majestic. Located right across from the water . Older hotel with insufficient heating. The food was good, views were great. Rooms were average . Hotel staff was very pleasant . Unsure on WiFi, did not try to use.

Quick checkin, no waiting. Room was clean with a nice view out the front. Breakfast was excellent. Full Irish and continental fruit/cerial selection available, help youself to the buffet. The coffee was very good. Plenty parking available across the road in the carpark or directly in front of the hotel on the street. News papers available each day in reception.... More

this hotel may be the only thing in Tramore. we arrived late and left early. they served a very good dinner. the hotel is older but nice. unlike other hotels the dining room is elegant and you were seated not just pick a table for dinner, rooms were nice.

This is an old world style hotel but has still retained its first class charm. When I booked in I was given one of there coveted sea view rooms with a balcony. The whole front of the room is made of glass with sea views. I had a simple meal in the bar but it was delicious and the bar... More

We had our daughters conformation meal here and that was excellent. So I took my family out for my birthday meal on 19/04/15. Again the food was excellent especially the beef. The restaurant was very clean and very well presented. Staff were over helpful again. It was very consistent with the last time we had food there. Yes I will... More

We stayed at this hotel as part of a Ireland tour package -- so our visit was only for one night. This hotel stood out as one of my favorites for several reasons: it has a simply gorgeous view of the coast (assuming you are lucky enough to get a room on the front of the hotel); the room has... Traveling thru Southwestern Ireland we were looking for a hotel with rooms facing east to watch the March 2015 partial solar eclipse. Majestic Hotel proved to be a good place to stay. Classic Hotel with very friendly staff and good quality breakfast. We were dining at the bar and enjoyed gorgeous bar food.

We spent Valentine's weekend there on a great value package offer. It is a very nice hotel with super friendly staff and excellent bar food. They really could not do enough for us and thanks to reading a review on here we booked one of the newer rooms at the front which was good advice.

This hotel is in transition. Tramore itself seems to be in transition. Travelers should know you can't get wifi internet access in your rooms. You need to go to the lobby and use your phone or laptop. When I asked about changing rooms I was told none of the rooms have wifi. Also the area itself around the hotel is... More

Dear Cheston R, Thank you for reviewing the Majestic Hotel Tramore. When I read your review I was very disappointed & saddened. Yes the hotel, town, & country is in transition .
