What is lacking in ambience is more than made up for by the friendly and accommodating staff. A great place to stay if you are travelling with small children or a dog. The rooms are well worn but comfortable and the hotel restaurant serves great food in significant portions. Breakfast is especially noteworthy. Excellent time overall. Highly recommended.

We, 2 couples, reserved double rooms, but accidentally for single use. Upon checkin out we were told that the price of double occupancy was more than double than that of single. We would have been better od booking 4 rooms...No one informed us upon checking in although they knew we were with 4 persons and while checking out it was... More

Good Afternoon Netherland Visitors, We are surprised to note that you expected us to accommodate 2 persons per room and to include breakfast for 2 persons and to only pay for one person. You booked through Bookings.com and it clearly stated on your booking form that if there was more than one person in the room the cost was €115.00... More

We visit Tramore a couple of times a year and our trip wouldn't be complete without a visit to O 'Sheas for Cod in Beer Batter & handcut chips. They also do a great range of down to earth meals like Cabbage & Bacon, or Roast beef etc. If you fancy something light their soup is always good. All in... More

From the outside this hotel looks quaint and in keeping with a typical seaside hotel. The inside is a little tired and dated but the Irish hospitality of all of the staff there allows you to forget the decor. The food sampled was reasonably priced and provided a large portion for lunch. The breakfast was a choice of cereal, fruit,... More

O'Shea's is central to Tramore, which had suffered some from some very aggressive weather. We weren't crazy about staying close to all the touristy hot dog stands and bars, but O'Shea's seemed, at first, a quiet hotel. It was quiet, except for one thing. While it is true that they warn you that O'Shea's is frequently a site for local... More

Good Morning Gaye, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel.Your complaints were not with our hotel but with other businesses operating in our area. Stayed here for a weekend of dog shows. Was here last year too. Dismayed however at the €25 charge for the dog this year considering the room was barely large enough for his crate. I travel a lot for shows & the dog always stay free. Otherwise a lovely hotel, clean, nice location & friendly staff, although next year I... More

My children and I went back for our 2nd stay of our trip home from the Middle East to a welcome one would only expect from close friends or family.
