Unfortunately our stay was ruined by the fact that the music is so loud and running past 2am stopping us from getting sleep even from the 2nd floor! Staff acknowledged the noise and that 'it wasn't normally quite that bad' but there was no management around that night or the following morning to actually speak with. When spending 80Euro on... Perfectly located at a high point in the town, this hotel is showing its age. Bedrooms are adequate, but creaky and old fashioned - couldn't turn off radiator, very difficult to balance heat in shower (old taps), wi-fi inoperative (was advised this would work in the lobby, but, no.). Breakfast was a disappointment (let's hope they've changed their meat supplier).... More

I visited the grand hotel today for a 4 course lunch with the family. There was about 10 of us. We all had a fabulous meal, couldn't fault a singe thing. The food was delicious, from start to end. The staff were so friendly.they kept checking if everything was ok and if everyone had enough of everything. Would highly recommend... More

We have just returned from a 2 night mid-week break at this hotel. The hotel is old as mentioned in other reviews, but it was clean and had character. The rooms are basic yet comfortable. The room was very cold when we arrived but a quick call to reception sorted that and it got toasty warm in no time. The... More

We have just returned from a 4 nights, Mon - Fri, coach holiday from the Wirral, England. We were warmly welcomed on arrival. The outside of the hotel is drab but inside it has oldie worldie charm with a warm feeling. It is well located within Tramore being surrounded by pubs, restauarants and cafes. The room was clean and comfortable... More

Out of the way, small town off the beaten path. Very out dated rooms with few views of anything. Drive through, see the sites but stay in a larger neighboring town with better options for accomodations. Out room was 3rd floor, everything outdated, pictures barely hanging on the walls, just not a good nights rest and not cozy or comfortable.... More

I stayed here for 2 nights I had prepaid for. I was happy with the well appointed room but not with the unfriendly service. Few of the staff are Irish and have brought with them a functionally abrupt manner from their own countries. The so-called Irish breakfast was a let down and the portions small. WiFi did not work and... More

This was my first experience of Ireland on a four night coach trip. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The waiting staff were very hard working they were always on the ball and nothing too much trouble. Our double room was very clean and comfortable and a good size. The cleaning staff did a good job and our... More

We travelled by coach and Ferry to Rosslare with a good holiday company, not complaints there, first time of using them and will again. Firstly the good point of this hotel was the Restuarant Staff, very very hard working, freindly and efficient. It stopped there. Hotel was the problem. The bedrooms were clean and tidy and the bedding very clean. but... More
