Perfectly located at a high point in the town, this hotel is showing its age. Bedrooms are adequate, but creaky and old fashioned - couldn't turn off radiator, very difficult to balance heat in shower (old taps), wi-fi inoperative (was advised this would work in the lobby, but, no.). I visited the grand hotel today for a 4 course lunch with the family. There was about 10 of us. We all had a fabulous meal, couldn't fault a singe thing. The food was delicious, from start to end.
