2 night stay for an event in Kingscourt which is less than 5 mins away by car. The owners Emmet and Kathleen could not do enough for us. They really do open their home to all who stay here. They have a wonderful area for the guests with all the latest TV & Netfix available as well as WIFI to... More

A home from home experience from start to finish! Emmet and his lovely family made us all so welcome. We all felt so relaxed in this lovely B&B. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. The beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a great selection of cereals, fruit, yogurt, toast, and a lovely cooked breakfast with plenty of... More

The plantation lodge is a fantastic B&B. Emmet and Cathy are wonderful hosts. They made me feel so at home for the few nights I was there. The room was great, really spacious and en suite. Breakfasts were a delight. There are some great spots to visit locally including Dun na Ri only down the road and Cabra Castle. I'd... More

Used this B&B attending wedding in Cabra Castle in Feb. Stayed in a clean, fresh room with a double and single bed. Access to TV and en-suite with shower. Very pleasant hosts. Great breakfast. Would recommend this to family and friends.

we visited the lodge a few weeks ago and had a fantastic night. The room was perfect, the lounging area even better but the best thing about the lodge are the hosts, Emmet and Kathleen, they made us feel at home as soon as we arrived and Emmet even took time out his day to show us where to go... Thanks for a great 3 night stay in January... The warm welcome we got after driving for a few hours with kids started a very special stay. They made us tea and biscuits, and drinks for the kids, as we sat in front of a roaring fire in the guests sitting room, with the most magical of Christmas trees! We... More

We had a fabulous stay at Plantation Lodge, and can’t sing the praises of Emmet and Kathleen’s hospitality enough. We stayed in December as we had a wedding and New Year’s Eve celebrations at nearby Cabra Castle. The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed the delicious made-to-order breakfast each morning. Having access to tea, coffee and cereal at all... More

Attended a wedding recently at Cabra Castle...but there was 'no room at the Inn'!! So Plantation Lodge B&B was recommended by a friend. Kathleen and Emmet are fantastic hosts and made us feel at home. From the welcoming cup of tea and freshly baked fruit cake to the enormous 'Full Irish' the following morning (or anything you want actually)...it was... More
