We didn't stay here but called into Percy's Bar on a Sunday afternoon to watch a match and have some barfood. The service wasn't great as the barman was more interested in watching the match. The food was just awful. It was inedible and overpriced. I'm disgusted that we paid for this and that we didn't didn't complain at the... More

Had dinner here the food was terrible, staff were awful. Very disappointing very poor standard of food. Staff had an attitude problem. Certainly wont be returning again. Had mixed reasons about going here. I wouldn't recommend for anyone to stay or to eat here. The hotel needs a complete face lift.

Centered in a part of Cavan which hasn't changed much over the years, one can almost imagine the coach and horses stopping at the front door. The Farnham Arms might not have been around then, but I am sure that something like it certainly was and has remained at the heart of Cavan's busy Main Street ever since. One of... More

Stayed here recently with a group of friends. Can't fault the hotel one bit. Brilliant location, staff are very helpful and will go out of way to help you. Food is basic but well worth the money. Hotel is an old fashioned irish hotel. Music in the bar most weekends.

Stayed here again recently while on business in Cavan. Busy place as usual room contained a single and double bed. Very clean and spacious. Breakfast was fine the next morning. Some noise out front during the night but not serious. Great value. Will stay there any time I visit the town.

On our return from the South we decided to overnight in Cavan. The accommodation was passable but attention needs to be paid to the breakfast table. An absolutely filty teapot was placed on our table together with poor cutlery and less than half ply napkins. The scones were toughened from the microwave but the bacon was tasty. Décor and cleanliness... More
