We were a party of five women aged 28-59, most of whom had not been camping for many a year. This was a surprise trip organised by the youngest of our gang. The softer ones in the party were enticed to Querrin with the promise of glamping while the hardier ones were told only that there were tents. What we... More

This was a lovely way to spend a weekend away. Very relaxed atmosphere, beautiful tents and yoga classes in the morning. Trea was really helpful advising us where to go when one of our activities was cancelled due to sea conditions and she knows everything about the locality. As someone who is used to festival camping and slumming it, this... More

I was drawn to this place by all the rave reviews and although it was quite nice to camp there i feel there needs to be some antidote to the hype as the place is far from the perfect utopia of camping that people are making out .If you are an obviously working class tourist or a backpacker on a... All the fun of camping with none of the hassle. We had an amazing stay, real earthy fun, topped off with a fabulous yoga session Saturday morning. Fantastic facilities, the shower/toilet facilities are as good as at home. Will definitely be going again.

We stayed in Purecamping in July 2013, and love every minute of it, Our 2 boys aged 8 and 5 had a ball on site, There is a lovely forest area with paths and tracks that is completely enclosed and safe for adventures. The bell tent had lots of toys to pass a few hours, it was also ideal for... More

My boyfriend and I were travelling around Clare and stayed here for 4 nights. We had our own tent and camped down in the woodlands area. Kevin was great, he showed us around and told us about the place. The facilities are spot on, the outside solar powered showers are definitely worth a go, there were campfires and I believe... More

A VERY easy review to write. It's excellent. Let's start with the facilities - they're excellent. From bootcamp outdoor communal kitchen replete with wood burning oven (for homemade pizzas which unfortunately we didn't have time to make use of) to cosmic rainy-day geodesic dome, from the selfbuild sauna (it's great, make the time/ effort to use it), to your own... We arranged to stay for 2 nights at purecamping, as a leg to our mini-tour around the West coast of Ireland and started our stay after visiting the Cliffs of Moher earlier in the day. We arrived to a well kept campsite with plenty of amenities for any camper. We arrived at an off peak time and the bell tents... More

We stayed at Purecamping for a week in August and really enjoyed ourselves. The campsite is very natural and beautiful, facilities are clean and more than adequte, and we totally support the eco philosophy. For us seasoned British campers, the kitchen was a novelty and very much appreciated. The dome was also a great (and dry) option for younger children.... More

PureCamping is just fabulous.. Having stayed in a BELL TENT recently as a 1st time camper and a not very well prepared one at that - even I would rate it highly and go back! It is a lovely quiet location - QUERRIN Village - and the site is private and quiet. Once you drive in the laneway you find... More
