My wife and I booked into Gallaghers 3 weeks in advance requesting a room with wheelchair access. The room was so small and the 2 beds were so large that when my wife drove in in her electric chair she became jambed between the end of the beds and the wall. The shower room was far to small. There was... More

From the minute we arrived at Gallaghers hotel on friday evening staying for 2 nights we loved every minute. Very quick check in with a very friendly funny receptionist. The room and bathroom was very clean the only downfall I found was the limited television channels. Breakfast was exceptional and again the service was wonderful. We went to the bar... More

This hotel is ideally located in the heart of letterkenny. But the hotel needs a major revamp. Rooms are very dated. The bathroom is like from something out of the 80's. The temperature was terrible from the shower. I think the fact they have an ironing room is a joke. For €99 I'd expect a lot better. The staff are... More

I would normally not be the type to write reviews however I was so disgusted with the staff in this hotel! I love letterkenny the people are so friendly but that was not the case in Gallaghers hotel. They were the most unfriendliest cold staff I ever came across. Except for the receptionist when we were checking out she was... More

We visited Letterkenny last month and stayed at Gallaghers Hotel. This is situated on the High Street and is a nice hotel. I only gave it 4 stars as the toilet was a bit grubby, apart from that our stay was lovely. Lovely Irish Breakfast in the morning, served by friendly staff. There is a car park but at weekends... Breakfast is ok if included. The hot items were not great but other things were just fine. Wifi works well. Parking is limited, we got one of the last spots. Room was big and comfortable. A little pricey for what you get.

This is simply, an 'easy' hotel in every sense: easy to locate, easy to deal with, easy to park in, easy to get good service, easy to be comfortable. Located in the center of Letterkenny, it is only a minute's walk to shops, venues, and restaurants. We checked in right at the same time a tour director bellied up to... More
