Never having used an Irish let alone many B&Bs we were not sure what to expect. We were greeted at the door and shown our room which had a n ensuite (small) and view of the garden but it was not overly large (something common to many B&Bs we have subsequently found. A guest lounge area was a bonus (wifi... More

We sleep 1 night in this B&B on oir way from Nord Ireland to Connemara NP, a little bit hard to find, we had Garmin but had problems, finally find it at the end of the street right uphill. 5 minutes to Letterkenny. Irish breakfast, very clean, friendly owner. We will stay again.

I agree with Evacee, this accommodation was in a nice quite setting and Mike and Philomena were the perfect hosts. They were very helpful with directions for area sights to see and made us feel right at home. I would stay again in the event I get to come back to Ireland in the future. Thanks!

The accommodation was quiet , peaceful we had a great time... More

I arrived at around 930pm to ask for a room for one night. I was greeted by Michael, who seemed an awkward, ill-at-ease character. They had no facility to accept debit cards; only credit cards. Surely in the year 2013 this sort of thing should not be an issue? We agreed on a mixture of sterling and Euro which Michael... More

This 3-room B&B is located in a private house tucked into a dense residential community on the outskirts of Letterkenny, a town that's very rapidly growing and gentrifying as the Celtic Tiger economy roars. Thus it's a quiet location (within sight of sheep and cow pastures), but not an especially convenient one, even with a car. Hostess Philomena was very... More
