I enjoyed 11 days at Anderson's Hillcrest House B&B in September 2012. Martin Anderson, the award-winning, professional chef, provides a comfortable, convenient home base from which I did day trips to the Giant's Causeway, Derry, and Dunfanaghy. Martin is a thoughtful host, with great craic, and very helpful with suggestions for places to visit & the must-see sights & directions... More

My new husband, his brother and father stayed here in days before our wedding. With Martin being a chef they were looked after very well with their food. The rooms had everything you need aswell as clean and tidy. I also stayed there myself along with my new husband before heading to the All Ireland Final. Martin had breakfast ready... More

Im staying again at the Hillcrest B n B. I've been coming here for 8 years and wouldn't even consider going to other bnb's or hotels. The rooms here are excellent, always clean tidy and very well appointed. The food is superb, you wouldn't expect anything less from an award winning chef whose worked in Paris, and you don't get... We've spent our holidays in countless B&Bs in England, Scotland and Ireland even a long time ago when our children were still young and travelling with us. Six years ago we found Martin Anderson’s Hillcrest House in Letterkenny/County Donegal/Ireland. THE ABSOLUTE HIGHLIGHT! The best place we’ve ever been! It just happened by chance and luck to find an accommodation like... More

My group of 4 golfers stayed here for 9 straight nights as we played all the local courses. Host Martin was very accomodating and we had an excellant visit. He was very flexible about morning breakfast time and menu - very welcome since we had different tee times and drive trip each AM. Highly recommended.

Ireland is so beautiful. County Donegal is even more beautiful. And if you stay in a special B&B in Letterkenny called Hillcrest House that is not without reason approved to be the number one in the northwest of Ireland, then your holidays will be a hundred percent success. The most important factor of the pleasure you receive at Hillcrest House... More

I first found Martin and the Hillcrest House when I was doing an international search for a chef in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal. Martin worked with me "across the pond" to create a beautiful cake which he personally delivered to my boyfriend and his daughter. I have been to Letterkenny many times since, and have had the pleasure of having brunch... More

After staying a several B&B's where there was little or no interaction with the hosts, Chef Martin came to the rescue! Martin's gracious mother met us when we arrived and gave us a choice of rooms and provided us with tips for dinner in town along with directions. When we returned we were greeted by Chef Martin. He engaged us... More

Just like home, even better! Chef Martin welcomed us with EXCELLENT ( sure italian standards excellent coffee ) COFFEE and homemade scones, the best scones I ever ever eaten. The room was average and really clean, all windows had double curtains so we were allowed to sleep in long summer days in Ireland. The atmosphere of all house was really... More
