I have stayed all over Ireland, and this great place is the best: it's located in the heart of The Burren, it's close to Ballyvaughan, Galway, and Fanore, and it's also within walking distance to an old castle that is now an art college. "C" House is an old stone structure with huge rooms, big modern bathrooms, and perfect views... More

Our stay at Cappabhaile House was a highlight in our one-month tour of Ireland. Inn Keepers Margaret and Conor have created a welcoming home base in the heart of the Burren region. If you have little time to read on you may stop here with my simple summary that Cappabhaile House is a 10 out of 10 on accommodations, food,... More

I loved everything about this place. Starting with Conor, who is a wealth of local knowledge. The room was HUGE, so my brother and I could stretch out. And the breakfast, oh the breakfast. Table set and waiting for you. I've never tasted anything fresher. The guest house is just a minute out of Ballyvaughan, which is perfect. Quiet, comfortable,... More

Margaret and Conor's made to order breakfasts were excellent! Our room was comfortable and spacious. Conor is happy to share his extensive knowledge about the history and geography of this unique area that begins right outside the door. We were even fortunate enough to catch a night of local music and lore at Cappabhaile house.

My husband and I were sorry that our stay here was just one night. The B&B was exceptional in the quality of its welcome, decor, situation, location, accommodation and breakfast. Cappabhaile is on our list of B&Bs we would love to revisit.

This September was my most recent visit to Cappabhaile House in the captivating Burren in County Clare. Margaret and Conor are more welcoming each time I am able to get there. The rooms have been redecorated and remain spotless, attractive, and with spectacular views. Delicious breakfast, music by Conor, his son, and even some of the guests, and always, always... More

The rooms are clean and comfortable, the B&B proprietors (Conor and Margaret) are kind, informative, and beyond expectation. The breakfast is the most delicious that I experienced in Ireland, Conor is a historian and knows the whole area and how to get you there in the often missed scenic routes. I have stayed 3 times with them and plan to... More

What can I say? All of the B&B's we stayed at in Ireland were clean and friendly. However, my new wife and I (on our honeymoon) had the intention of driving around and staying at local B&B's all over. We happened across Cappabhaile House while looking for a queen sized bed that my feet didn't hang off the end. We... More

This is a great place to use as a base for a visit to the Burren and surrounding districts. The room in the Guest House was beautifully furnished and spacious. The peaceful rural setting with views to the dramatic rocky hills stunning. Conor and Margaret are wonderful hosts. The care they take ensures a wonderful stay. The night their family... More
