Our 3 day stay was enchanting from the beginning. The view from the windows in our room was extraordinary. Conor and Margaret are more than willing to help plan the sites you wish to see. What a treasure to stay with folks who know the land, the history, the archeology! The location is the best blend of proximity to town,... More

Cappabhaile House is truly a classy B&B with generous sized rooms that are elegantly furnished. We had a delightful rural landscape view from our window. The rooms were very clean with fast Wifi, tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast included was fresh and delicious. Connor was so helpful with his local knowledge and provided us with great tips. We... More

My wife and I stayed here with our good friends while traveling in Ireland. We were so pleasantly surprised by this B&B. First of all, the rooms are twice the size of most B&B rooms and the entire lobby and breakfast area is very comfortable and inviting. The breakfast was super. Conor and Margaret are so welcoming and friendly. The... More

The entire place is welcoming, homey & cozy. But that's just the building. Wait til you meet Margaret & Conor. They are an exceptional team. Breakfast is wonderful; check out the pictures. Looking for ancestors? Just ask Conor. I've stayed here three times & he always has new information for me. Sightseeing? Ask either one & they'll direct you easily.... More

We just spent 2 nights at this B&B while visiting Ireland. We stayed in Room 6. It is a large, quiet room at the back of the property. We had a lovely view from our windows. Conor, the owner, is very knowledgeable of the area and local historic sites. The breakfasts were delicious and very well prepared. This B&B is... More

Thank you for recognising our very large room with the wonderful views, quality freshly cooked breakfasts. It is very unfortunate that you did not bring the cold water problem to our attention when you here and we could have resolved it in 20 minutes or less. It is hard for me to know exactly what went wrong after the event... More

Fantastic room, superb hospitality, excellent breakfasts and the most helpful and friendly hosts. Located near the town of Ballyvaughan in beautiful scenery with lots of fantastic walks close by. Highly recommended B&B. We will definitely stay there again.

John and Margaret provide the most comfortable and incredible experience. Cappabhaile House is a gem. Views, nearby sites, unique entertainment, cleanliness, and comfort are some of the highlights. Truly a unique and magical place...we highly recommend it for a genuine taste of Ireland!

Cappabhaile House is a mile or two out of Ballyvaughan, on the right just before the fork towards the Ailwee cave. It is a bed and breakfast without a bar, with large and very comfortable rooms. The host was kind and welcoming. HIs knowledge of the geography, geology and history of the area was great, and we enjoyed talking to... More

We had the family room for our family if 4- 2 adults and 2 teens. It was large and well-appointed. The private bathroom was perfect too! The owners had just opened for the season but it wasn't apparent in any way. Wifi had good signal. The pool table room was great as were the breakfasts. Oh my gosh the breakfast!!... More
