The house, the room the welcome were all excellent , then came the breakfast which couldn't be bettered. The best . A tranquil setting and a very relaxed atmosphere make this an ideal base for touring the area. The host Connor, had such helpful advice about where to go off the beaten track. He was a mine of information on... More

We had more than adequate space in the family room for my sister, myself, 2 adult daughters and bags for a 2 night stay. The room also boasted a small table and chairs and a huge 4 seater couch. We all raved about the quality and quantity of breakfast which surpassed our expectations. We can't say enough about the hosts,... More

This is really an amazing place! We stayed at Cappabhaile House our first night in Ireland, after a long flight. We returned a few days later for two more nights. Our rooms were clean, spacious and pretty, and the beds were comfortable. The grounds are lovely and we found the location to be perfect. Among the breakfast choices were a... More

Cappabhaile is a delightful find in the lovely Burren region. My husband & I stayed here a few years ago & remembered the house and the hosts fondly, so given the opportunity we were happy to come again. We are so glad we did! Honestly, the stay was better than I remembered. We booked two rooms for our party. Both... More

By now, I've stayed 10 or 12 times at Cappabhaile House, most recently in June for five nights. This time, I brought along a friend who was amazed at not only the B and B, but also with how great the walking is in the area. One can literally walk out the front door and climb up a mountain. You can... More

Drove here from Dingle rather than all the way to Galway. Conor is a wealth of knowledge with advice, maps, and books. Stayed two nights - very large room - free wifi - wonderful breakfast choices. Easy access to Cliffs of Moher and many wonderful sights in the Burren that the average American visitor to Ireland doesn't see. Just get... More

Visited on the 12 September for the Ballyvaughan Fanore Peaks Challenge could not praise enough, location, hospitality, magnificent rooms, great menu for breakfast, as nowhere was open early for our hike in the village. Sandwiches were prepared for us, well worth a visit

We stayed one night recently as we toured the southern part of the country. The front door opens to an expansive view of the Burren. The hosts were helpful and pleasant. The room was large, which was not the norm for our stay. Clean, very nicely decorated. The bathroom was large and again clean. The room was quiet. You could... More
