This is a superb B&B. It is only 1km from town, it has plenty of car parking, the rooms are enormous, the breakfast is great, and the hosts are very helpful. They gave us lots of really good tips to maximize what we saw in the limited time that we had, and some really interesting reading material. If you are... More

We stayed at Cappabhaile house for one night recently, and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The room was the largest we had stayed in in Ireland, with comfortable sofas for sprawling in as well as a large bay window for staring at the pastoral scenery. The location of the house was very quiet and peaceful overall. There was a wide range... More

Conor and Margaret are simply amazing hosts ,so very welcoming .We extended our stay by an extra night to be able to experience all the Burren has to offer ,especially Conor's list of sights that you wont find on the average tourist map! fantastic large rooms with beds that are way too comfortable and huge breakfasts that set you up... I stayed here with my family last week. It was the highlight of our stay! The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is beautifully presented and delicious. Conor is incredibly helpful, setting up a special tour of the Aran Islands. We only stayed for two days, but I would have happily stayed much longer.

I stayed here with a friend of mine for two nights. The room is huge, comfy beds and very clean. The breakfast was of a very high standard, such have taken a photo but couldn't wait to dig in. The location was fabulous, in the heart of everything we wanted to do in County Clare. Just a small drive to... More

If you are traveling through the Burren, this is THE place to stay. It was the nicest room our family of four had in our two week tour of Ireland. You might consider using it as a base for many of areas of interest around Co. Clare and even Galway. Huge, comfortable rooms, an amazing breakfast and hosts that seem... More

Our stay at the Cappabhaile House was too short. I made the mistake of only booking one night in the Burren and should have allowed for more time to sight see in the area. Conor was very helpful informing me of areas to visit the afternoon we arrived. He encouraged me to drive to Black Head and then down the... More

It's hard to find anything to complain about with this delightful B&B just south of Ballyvaughan. As you step through the front doors you're in what amounts to a full rural hotel lobby, exuding a sense of pure comfort. Our room (party of five) was very affordable, almost as roomy as suite, and in perfect repair, with shiny new-looking bathroom... More

Cappabhaile House provides large rooms, big breakfasts, vast views of the gorgeous Burren countryside, and even grander hospitality. Our family enjoyed four wonderful days in the area, thanks to friendly expertise and offers of help from the proprietors about running paths, outdoor yoga locations, archaeological sites, local history, and bus routes. We left behind a power adapter en route to... More

Large room, comfortable, with good wifi. Huge, tasty breakfast, and lots of helpful advice about what to see around the Burren from pleasant owners. Its not luxurious and the water pressure in the shower might be a little better, but I've stayed in plenty of hotels that get things less right than this. We were pleased with our stay.
