Absolutely in agreement with all the other reviewers. Large, comfortable, quiet and well-appointed rooms, terrific breakfast choices, and generous and informative hosts. There is nothing to complain about or even suggest an improvement upon. Not only would we stay again if we were in the area, we would likely try to configure plans to absolutely find ourselves in the area... more

I agree with the other positive reviews, Conor and Margaret have a great place here and are a tremendous resource for having a great time in west Clare. Our interest was primarily in the Neolithic and Iron Age sites in the area, and Conor was a great help in locating ones that were off the signposted trail. He also suggested... more

This was our first visit to Ireland and also our first B&B. I was well pleased with this B&B. Conor and Margaret did a splendid job of caring for our needs with suggestions, assistance with getting our lost baggage from Boston to Ireland, and for always having a smile and a joke or two. We enjoyed music one night and... more

Cappabhaile House was the first stop on our two-week trip to Ireland, and it lived to up all expectations. Our room was spacious, quiet and clean, and breakfast was wonderful. Our host, Conor, proved to be a great lover of Irish folk music, and especially the folk singer Christy Moore -- and his wife Margaret managed to score tickets for... more

This was our first BB in Ireland and by far the best we stayed in all week. The room was large and lovely with a Queen and a single bed. It was clean and beautifully decorated with wood furniture. The bathroom had shampoo and body wash like you would find in a hotel. The scenery was too magnificient for words and... more

We had a great two nights at this B & B. We couldn't believe the breakfast...bountiful and extraordinarily tasty can't even describe it! The owners are from the region offer a wealth of information that only a local would know. The B&B has internet access at no cost if you bring along your own laptop. That was a blessing for... more

Stayed here on night two of a whirlwind trip through Ireland. Conor and Margaret were absolutely wonderful and full of terrific suggestions of things to do and see and of places to eat. We modified our trip to include several of their suggestions (you must see the ring forts and medieval tomb near their property). Our room overlooked a castle... more

Stayed in Cappabhaile House for two nights and the welcome we received on arrival was second to none. Margaret filled ours ears with information on where to go, how to get there and what not to miss. The room we stayed in was enormous, clean and very comfortable. One night we brought in our own bottle of wine and the... more

We were there for 3 nights, at the beginning of feb. We were the only guests there, as this was their slow season. Conor and Margaret made us feel at home, they were great with giving us information on the area. You put in the breakfast order in the night before, and the food is plenty, to keep you going... more
