My husband and I stayed at the Lodge for 4 nights on our recent trip to Ireland and had a lovely time. Karen, the owner, provided great hospitality, food, service, and suggestions about what to see in the area. Our room was on the left at the top of the stairs and faced the road and the field across the... More

We stayed several nights at Rusheen on our recent trip to Ireland, and were very happy with our choice. Our room had a lovely view of the Burren and of the cows across the road; we were a little worried about road noise but there really wasn't much traffic and we soon forgot there was a main road behind the... We stayed one night in Rusheen Lodge in August 2012. The owner of the B&B was very welcoming and she showed us our room which was on the first floor. The room was of a decent size with a good sized bathroom. After a day spent on the beach it was good to have a powerful shower to wash off... More

Husband and I spent two nights at Rusheen Lodge in mid-August 2012 and found it to be a comfortable and hospitable inn. We stayed in the Garden Suite which had a king bed and dressing table plus the extra of a small sun room with two comfy arm chairs. Cable TV and tea service in the room but limited bath... More

The town of Ballyvaughan is small one. This guesthouse and breakfast made it an incredibly quiet departure from the rest of my Ireland trip. Outside of my window were gorgeous green hills with cows roaming. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the comfort and upscale feel of this guesthouse. We chose to stay in Ballyvaughan as a central spot for... More

We stayed at the Rusheen Lodge during our vacation to Ireland in August 2012. The rooms were comfortable, quiet and the breakfast was great. The staff were friendly, helpful and the service was great. The pubs and restaurants are just a couple of miles away. Would highly recommend!

On our first night we had a cosy room on the top floor with a view of the beautiful countryside from the dormer window ( room 233) and a huge bathroom. On our second we were in the garden suite (room 225) with a lovely sitting room with a view of the enclosed patio garden with colourful hydrangeas and shrubs.... More

Stayed here 2 nights and it was a great place. Karen is great really goes above and beyond to ensure all is well. Breakfast is awesome so many options. We stayed in the Burren suite and it has a great view especially to watch the sunset.

Ballyvaughan is a small village yet the food is incredible and the breakfast at Rusheen Lodge is outstanding. Your hot breakfast comes with a choice of smoked fish and I was given a huge piece of trout that still makes my mouth water when I think about it. The Lodge is just lovely and we were given a nice room... More

Oh my gosh Karen was the greatest! The room was spacious with a terrific Irish view (burren and cows). Karen was utterly delightful and the most helpful of all the b and bs we stayed in during our 3 week stay in Ireland. We had a birthday while there and she even surprised us with candles for our pie and... More
