The town of Ballyvaughan is small one. This guesthouse and breakfast made it an incredibly quiet departure from the rest of my Ireland trip. We stayed at the Rusheen Lodge during our vacation to Ireland in August 2012. The rooms were comfortable, quiet and the breakfast was great. The staff were friendly, helpful and the service was great. The pubs and restaurants are just a couple of miles away. Would highly recommend!

On our first night we had a cosy room on the top floor with a view of the beautiful countryside from the dormer window ( room 233) and a huge bathroom. Stayed here 2 nights and it was a great place. Karen is great really goes above and beyond to ensure all is well. Breakfast is awesome so many options. We stayed in the Burren suite and it has a great view especially to watch the sunset.

Ballyvaughan is a small village yet the food is incredible and the breakfast at Rusheen Lodge is outstanding. Your hot breakfast comes with a choice of smoked fish and I was given a huge piece of trout that still makes my mouth water when I think about it.
