I got trapped in Galway during the recent floods, at 10.30 in the evening I was in Oranmore and needed somewhere to stay overnight urgently. I was exhausted. Myself, my sister stayed with Evelyn & From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home, the rooms were comfortable, charming, clean and very roomy and had large en-suites. Stayed with a few friends in this fantastic house earlier this year. The turf fires and great craic made this one of the best bed and breakfasts we have ever stayed in. This was extremely poor value and was the only low point of another wise brilliant week in Ireland, the house had no heating on when we arrived mid afternoon ( October ) and remained off till the evening in spite of our requests. There was no hot water either. Breakfast was mediocre. more
