I enjoyed my stay here . The only thing that I can fault is that my room window was beside the service gate and trucks etc started to arrive unload from 6 am every morning , which awoke me quite early (but was asleep again shortly after) , the rooms are slightly dated but are generally clean and comfortable .

When I booked the I was informed that I would get a executive room when I arrived I received a single room as I was alone and had to work that night I did not bother going back to reception. At check in I asked for a room call for 11 pm as I had to be in work for... More

Having stayed here on a family break before the kids go back to school, we really enjoyed our time here in this beautiful quaint hotel. We booked a family room which had plenty of space in it for the 4 of us as well as having wifi which kept our 2 boys occupied. Lovely comfy beds and quiet rooms too!... More

We stayed here from 7-9 August for a sailing event on Galway Bay. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and very comfortable and the food was brilliant! We will definitely stay here again! Great base from which to explore the local area and less than 1km into the centre of the village. Great to have... More

I stayed here for 2 nights during Galway Festival week. Price (including 2 breakfasts + 1 evening meal) was very reasonable considering hotels around Galway area usually well booked for this week). Reservation was made as part of a large group booking so individual booking price may well be higher. Our room was spotless and had two large comfortable double... More

This is a cute and historic hotel. The rooms were quiet, clean and a nice size. We had a great, but expensive, dinner in their restaurant. Each night we were there, the bar was pretty busy in the evening, which was good because there wasn't a lot to do within walking distance. It's definitely a sleepy location. The WiFi was... More

I have stayed at the Oranmore Lodge several times now, The rooms and hotel is very clean and tidy and the staff friendly and welcoming. The WiFi is a bit of a pain to get working and the Bar food menu is a bit limited in choice although the food and service is very good. I would stay here again... More

We stayed here instead of staying in Galway city center and were very disappointed in the location. I knew it was a bit out of town, but thought maybe it'd be worth it. I would have preferred to spend more money and stay in Galway. Unless you're here for business or just want a break from traditional B&Bs (which I... More

I am not really sure how the ratings are given but for a four star hotel but we were so disappointed with this hotel graded four stars. We stayed here for a 3 night B&B deal. The building and grounds are very attractive as is the reception area. The bedroom we had was clean but lacked character and quality. The... More

Stayed here with family in family room. The receptionist at check in was excellent despite being continually interrupted by a somewhat rude lady demanding phone numbers. I was impressed that she wasn't distracted from the me as I was very tired and my potential for grumpiness was very high. Well done that lady. Didn't have time to use the bar.... More
