I have stayed at the Oranmore Lodge several times now, The rooms and hotel is very clean and tidy and the staff friendly and welcoming. The WiFi is a bit of a pain to get working and the Bar food menu is a bit limited in choice although the food and service is very good. I would stay here again... More

We stayed here instead of staying in Galway city center and were very disappointed in the location. I knew it was a bit out of town, but thought maybe it'd be worth it. I would have preferred to spend more money and stay in Galway. Unless you're here for business or just want a break from traditional B&Bs (which I... More

I am not really sure how the ratings are given but for a four star hotel but we were so disappointed with this hotel graded four stars. We stayed here for a 3 night B&B deal. The building and grounds are very attractive as is the reception area. The bedroom we had was clean but lacked character and quality. The... More

Stayed here with family in family room. The receptionist at check in was excellent despite being continually interrupted by a somewhat rude lady demanding phone numbers. I was impressed that she wasn't distracted from the me as I was very tired and my potential for grumpiness was very high. Well done that lady. Didn't have time to use the bar.... More

We stumbled upon the Oranmore Lodge Hotel when looking for a last minute accommodation. It is a beautiful hotel nestled in amongst a residential area. But you'd never know it once you are on the property. The building may be a little old but it isn't in any sort of disrepair. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean... More

Just returned from a few days of travelling around Ireland as we decided to holiday at home this year. We stayed here for 2 days on our travels and couldn’t be happier. From the moment we checked in we were greeted with a wonderful friendly welcome from the receptionist. Throughout our stay the staff were so nice and chatty in... More

The family room was a good size with 2 double beds. The pool was popular with the children and also had a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. (You need to wear swimming caps but they are available to buy.) The only down-side was the food. We avoided breakfast due to the cost but ate in the bar one night -... More

Good points were the quality of the food on the evening meal and the overall atmosphere of the bar. Now the bad points. Lack of tv channels, had to stand in the plug hole of the bath to stand under the shower, bathroom door did't fully close and its' door handle didn't work, hot breakfast items not self service like... Stayed for one night at €140 B&B for a family room which had two double beds. The room was large, beds were fairly comfy. Bathroom has fine, good shower and all was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, I needed an emergency toothbrush which was provided, a proper one too, at no cost. Breakfast was fine, standard hot and cold... More
