I was in the area for a funeral and arrived very late but Karl & Theresa had everything ready for our arrival. Breakfast was also ready in the morning as promised. Rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. Bathroom floors were cold, but the shower had great pressure and lots of hot water, lots of nice towels. The room was spacious,... More

The surroundings are by far beautiful. The main lodge borders right on the lake. Playground for loons and geese. The little cottages and main lodge certainly look inviting. Management and staff are very accommodating and friendly, eager to share information with all their guest. The environment is very positive. Price point and offerings match well at approximately $100 per night.... More

We stayed here with extended family last spring and it was a great spot to stay. Cottages are a little dated but relaxing and quiet all the same. One tip though, bring your own coffee maker as the one's they have on site are only 2 cup and take a long time to brew.

Thanks for the reviews from trips advisor! Me n my boyfriend stayed in "lakeside lodge" on the past Labor Day long weekend. That was the best sleep ever in our entirely trip! You would not hear any noise at all! Addition, I was impress by the clean, comfor setting in the room: 2 double beds in the room, big screen... More

My husband and I have stopped here 3 times now on our way to and from the east coast. We actually plan our trip so we can get there for dinner. The food is wonderful, fresh, homemade and Theresa and Karl are very welcoming! We love German cuisine and it's great to know you can get such great food when... More

Although our cabin smelled a bit musty, everything was great. Super peaceful and relaxing area, right on the water, beautiful view both at night and in the morning (but bring your bug spray!). There are some canoes on site to borrow and the property is fun to explore. It was a great stay! Would definitely go back again!

We stayed in a cottage overlooking the lake and had a lovely German style supper in the Lodge. The cottage was very roomy, clean, comfortable, with Loons calling on the lake. The restaurant, with window seats and the food was delicious. The restaurant staff service was exceptional! It was great! The host Theresa was friendly and very welcoming...couldn't ask for... More

My husband and I spent one night at Lakeside on the way to Nova Scotia. It is a wonderfully quiet spot on a pristine lake. Theresa and Karl are the proprietors who are actively involved in the operation. Theresa is the hostess/receptionist/bar tender and Karl the chef. Two friendly, warm people who have found this special place that they are... More

Theresa was a quite pleasant hostess. Made sure we were comforable. Property was clean and scenic with it being on the lake. We stayed at the main house and not it the cabins. The beds are due for a change. We made use of the trail around the lake and had a good walk. It is pretty isolated, but town... More

We visit Grand Falls every few years. This was our first experience at Theresa and Karl's little bit of heaven. You stay in a beautiful cabin in front of the lake. You get a wonderful nights sleep in a quiet place on a clean, comfy bed. The owners are extremely friendly. They are eager to help you and it is... More
