It had been several years since I stayed at this hotel it was formally called Pres Du Lac it still has a lot of charm especially the grounds , the hotel is located on the side of a lake which is beautiful. The hotel and the furniture looks a bit dated but still very nice clean and comfortable.

We have stayed at this hotel several times, formerly called "Auberge Pres du Lac". There is a charming little lake and the "smallest covered bridge in the world" on the property. There is an indoor heated pool, whirlpool and sauna, basketball court, putting green, gym, gift shop and relaxing lobby. The on-site restaurant has delicious meals at reasonable prices and... More

We stopped one night on the way to Halifax from ontario. The room was on the second floor without elevators was difficult to get to carrying our suitcases. The room was in desperate need of upgrading and not worth. $180! There was a Murphy bed with an ancient mattress and the room was musty smelling. The restaurant was ok and overpriced... More

We checked the rates online and when we stopped, we were quoted a price that was more than the Quality Inn's own website. When I mentioned it, the girl at the counter just shrugged. When I asked for the Government rate (I provided ID), she questionned me on the purpose of my trip, sighed and quoted a price that was... More

My family and I travelled from Ontario to the east coast and have stopped over one night at this hotel as the half way point for several times now. Most recently in August, 2014. The service was excellent, the room well planned for a travelling family, including a fridge and coffee maker. The room was perfectly clean, the included breakfast... More

My family and I stayed at this hotel for one night in August 2014 during a trip to the maritimes. The rooms were clean, breakfast was hot and delicious with fresh waffles, and the pool was a great break from a day of driving. Although the décor is slightly dated, the hotel is still very functional and comfortable. Staff were... More

...'cause you're going back to 1985. First, the cons - staff are adequate but don't expect the warm & fuzzies; poor soundproofing from the hallways and between rooms. The facility doesn't appear to have been updated since the 80's. The pros? It has been very meticulously maintained since then. Clean, clean, clean! Lots of amenities - pool, hot tub, sauna,... Over the past 20 years we have been driving down to the Maritimes from Ontario, this hotel has on several occasions been a place to stopover for a night. It is convenient, clean and consistent. The service has always been great, the rooms clean and the food good. With Quality taking it over in the past few years, I did... More
