We stayed here for two nights. The place is lovely. The grounds. The interior. Everything is absolutely charming. It is supposed to be old. No elevator. No ice machine. The staff was very helpful getting our 10 bags up 4 flights of stairs. Rooms are decorated in turn of the century charm. Beds very comfortable. Had drinks in the Dungeon.... More

I booked a suite for two days, we had fantastic views over Dublin bay, the suite was a very good size with a sitting room, two toilets and a large bathroom. Staff were excellent and the food was very very good, we ate here two nights and I could not fault it at all, the breakfast was also excellent. It... More

Spent two nights here on our arrival to Ireland. Located ~25 minute train ride (Dalkey Station) from downtown Dublin, this castle is very quaint with a friendly staff. I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast to start the day out - traditional Irish breakfast options along with juices, pastries, breads, and cereals. We did not eat dinner here but the menu... More

We attended a charity ball here and as we pulled up outside, it began to snow. It was wonderful. The hotel staff greeted us with warmth and directed us towards the fire while we were checked in. We had a wonderful room in the old part of the castle, I felt like I had been thrown back in time but... More

I stay in hotels all over the world over half of each year. It is not easy to impress me but I was bowled over by this hotel. There is only one word to describe the decor and ambience and that is "elegant". The staff are beautifully trained and the food was superb. It had one of the best breakfasts... More

In May of this year I took a trip to Dublin and booked a Castle hotel not knowing how far away from the city it was.. I also didn't care to check. The hotel is so beautiful I had never stayed in a castle hotel and by far the best experience. The staff was spectacular from the front desk, house... More

Wonderful rooms, great restaurant, very nice staff. Loved the place. Nice walking trails in the area. Easy walk to the train to Dublin. This was our second visit and we would go back again. Lots of public areas to sit and relax.

This hotel certainly did the trick. Our room was newly renovated, with new carpet, bed, wall paper curtains, bedding and a renovated bathroom. We didn't eat at the hotel so I can't comment on the food. The service was good. I loved the town. It seems that it was once a separate village, but since Dublin has grown, it's pretty... More

Stayed with a tour group. Keys at desk upon arrival. Tea or coffee set up for us if we wanted it. Free internet, nice as it is not always free in the rooms. Nice bar, friendly staff. Very nice meal at dinner. To far outside of Dublin to call it a Dublin Hotel. I would return but just know it's... More
