From paying for the postage and mailing our 24 postcards home to quickly responding to all our questions and needs, the staff made our stay very pleasant. A fresh liter of bottled water along with cookies, coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the room every morning, we began our days refreshed and our nights relaxed. The good sized pool allowed... more

My husband and I stayed at the Fitzpatrick Castle Holiday Homes with another couple in June 2009, as an RCI exchange. The Holiday Homes are located in an apartment complex on hotel property (9 timeshare units and the rest are residents). Our ground floor apartment consisted of a living room-kitchen area, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a utility closet.... more

We have just arrived back after spending three nights in the Fitzpatrick Castle hotel. Overall we were pleased with the service and staff. The room was very spacious and with two toddlers this was great. However, you have been advertising your hotel as a family friendly place to stay but i did not find this to be. The staff should... more

My family and I stayed at the Fitzpatrick for 3 days. The front desk service was fantastic, as was the young man, Connor, who tended our luggage(and later room change) needs. The first room they gave us, the furnishing were very cheap looking; they had a curtain for the closet door and the hairdryer looked like a vacuum piece(the long... more

Located up high on the hill in Dalkey, the Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel provided a comfortable, quiet stay. Be sure to trek further up the hill (behind the hotel) and have a look at the beautiful Irish Seascape. You won't be disappointed by your stay here, as the staff was courteous and the breakfast buffet was tasty, but extra $. The... more

Breakfast is far too expensinve for a buffet at 20 euro pp. I did have an omlette cooked for me but was put off after finding a hair in it - at these prices, that is very poor. Saturday breakfast was ok if the pirce doesnt give you heartburn but the sunday breakfast buffet included hard/dry black pudding -obviously leftover... more

Just returned from a 3 night Easter weekend stay at Fitzpatrick Castle. Originally booked 2 nights but having such a good time we decided to stay on for an extra night and the hotel gave us the room at a reduced rate. Our two boys (aged 12 and 8) loved every minute of it - the pool, the games room... more
