We stayed at Porterhouse for 2 nights, the room was passable but we asked for a quietish room and got one beside the AC units. Then the noise from the nightclub meant we had to go back down to the bar as we couldn't sleep. When it came to pay we we overcharged by € 20 compared to the rate... more

We have just returned from a stay in the Porterhouse and was not very impressed. We we checked into our room it was very dirty - there was even vomit in the toilet bowel and beer stains on the bath and floor. I just came back from a 1 nights stay in the porterhouse. We had a beautiful room on the second floor and I couldn't ask for a nicer room it had everything we needed. The staff we so warm and friendly we felt quite at home there. The food from breakfast to lunch to dinner was super the nightly entertainment... more

I stayed there in room 114 with two female friends on an office night out. We were all in agreement that this must be the dirtest accommodation we have ever stayed in. Stayed at The Porterhouse Inn for two nights, 7th and 8th March. Lucky for me, they were having a stout festival in their bar downstairs. Arrived no; car park , reception upstairs, have to check in at the bar where you card number is demanded immediately. The bedroom was good with a balcony with seaview, cost 135 euro.
