Stayed in the martello hotel in July with 5 other of my family members. Had a great stay at the hotel. The rooms were massive and spotless. Breakfast was great, the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The only downside was that the hotel did not have a lift. As we had a baby with us, it was difficult bringing... More

Stayed in The Martello, Thursday 28th August '14. Was very pleasantly surprised and will definitely return. From checking-in to checking-out the staff were excellent, very efficient and very friendly. We had asked for a sea view when booking and were granted our wish - ask for room 203 if you'd like a breathtaking sea view to wake up to in... More

Enjoyed a 5 night stay at The Martello with the family during the summer. There were 6 of us - 3 stayed in the self catering apartment as we had a young child in tow. Worked out really well having the extra space and cooking facilities. The only drawback with the apartment is that it backs onto the train line... More

The Martello Hotel is good for fun times, especially on a Friday or Saturday night! A friend and I stayed in one of the "self catering apartments" with 2 rooms and a kitchen. Pros: reasonably priced, clean room and linens, a kitchenette for simple food prep. Staff were helpful and friendly in both the restaurants and the hotel check-in area.... More

We stayed for one night on Monday 14th July 2014 and it was very enjoyable. We had stayed in a different hotel the two nights previous and wish we had stayed in the Martello for our entire weekend. Although the room was small it was well laid out and a bonus was the air con. Serving breakfast the next morning... More

A group of us - 6 girls - stayed in the Martello Hotel on 25th July this year - we were booked to stay there as we travelled from multiple counties to meet and go the Garth Brooks concert in Dublin. When the concert was cancelled we decided to have our night away anyway. And boy are we glad we... More

Love this bar and restaurant, travel annually to Bray and always spend our nights here. The food is fantastic - we dined in the Bistro - and it was well worth it. The steaks were cooked to perfection. Service was excellent, can't fault it. After dinner we retired to the bar with live music on the seafront with plenty of... More

We had a family meal at the Martello and the food, service and staff were all lovely. Everyone enjoyed their meal, the location was fantastic and the kids were well looked after, they were given colouring and the staff were all very friendly towards them.

We had two separate stays in the Martello, the first stay was 2 nights in an apartment, the second visit was 2 days in the hotel. Firstly, you can't beat the location, right on the sea front. As others have said there is no parking at the hotel, but we found a car park for 4 euro a day, so... More
