Room lovely with excellent facilities. Food very good and breakfast excellent with fantastic choice to suit all tastes. Evening meal choice extensive and gluten free food available. Even though hotel is situated in the centre of Cahir I found it quiet at night and easy to sleep.

Travelling off season, I chose Cahir as a starting out spot for day trips. The Hotel is at best utilitarian and we must have had a 'cursed' room. No heat, poor shower,no wi fi. A real disappointing two days. The bar downstairs and the food and service was pleasant enough, and also the breakfast. I would stay here again if I... More

The Cahir House is a creaky old hotel with no lift, but really is very nice place run by genuinely good people. We're seniors and they graciously carried our bags upstairs to our room and refused a tip. We stayed only one night but foound it extremely comfortable with lunch in the pub and dinner in the stylish dining room... More

This is what I call a good solid value for money hotel. The rooms are spotless and the beds very comfortable. The staff are very friendly without being in your face. Yes it is a bit shabby in places but it is a three star and you are only paying three star rates. I have stayed in some four stars... More

The Cahir House Hotel is centrally located in Cahir so everything you need or want to see is within a few minutes walk. The staff at the desk and restaurant were extremely helpful, warm and welcoming. The hotel was clean and the rooms are large and well equipped. Truly perfect for the short stay traveler. One issue we had was... More

Very charming and historic property. Extremely helpful and welcoming staff, very clean in all areas. Dead centre of town, everything you would require is within a 5 or 10 minute walk. Superb breakfast and wonderful pub! No complaint from us about this hotel!

Which was very good, a bit surprised well done chef. The hotel could be updated bedrooms paint and curtains, Corridors a lick of paint only one major fault no lift, problem for... More

Stayed for one night on a DBB basis for only €75 all in. The hotel is old and has a lovely charm to all of its public areas. The corridors are a bit jaded but very clean nonetheless. The room was comfortably warm and had all that could reasonably be needed TV, tea/coffee facilities, bath/shower, comfortable bed and very comfy... More
