This hotel is situated in the centre of Cahir. Staff where very professional and friendly Bed was very comfortable. I could have rested all day! We loved our 2 night break and would recommend this hotel. The bar had music on both nights which we throughly enjoyed and didn't hear any music back in the room. Breakfast was good.

The service in Cahir House Hotel is friendly, polite & quick. The atmosphere is relaxed & all facilities are clean & well maintained. Unfortunately who ever is in charge of setting the menu & training the front of house staff is dropping the ball. Fish is marked as acceptable for vegetarians. Gluten free options are marked. I asked if it... More

Two families stayed here for a night. Loved the age and character of this hotel and bar. Great location near Cahir Castle. The breakfast was wonderful. Don't need to change a thing. Highly recommend for anyone.

Just back from a weekend with several family members including some kids - all the recent reviews are right and very glad that we chose to stay here. Ok.....you could be picky and note the odd 'tiredness' of decor/trimmings in, say our ensuite. But the bed was comfortable, the room was large, clean and everything worked and all our meals... More

This isn't the ritz but you get what you pay for. A single room in a hotel for €50 with breakfast. Suits me. He rooms are a wee bit dated but you have what you need. The beds are very comfy and the shower pressure is powerful. There is no lift and some rooms can be a bit of a... More

Once again a group travelled down to Glengarra Wood and stayed in Cahir House Hotel. We were made very welcome and our rooms were spotless. We had ordered dinner for ourselves and three guests. The menu was extensive and had many items we women would not have cooked at home which made choosing difficult! Every item was veery well cooked... More

We did not stay at the Hotel but it is worth a visit for some very good food and friendly service. Very centrally located in the town of Cahir. We checked some other restaurants, but found this hotel the best for quality and service.

The front desk staff were just lovely, particularly Karen! She recommended so many sights to see in Cahir and knew the historical significance of the places. Just a great help, even helped arrange some trips elsewhere in Ireland. The breakfast that was included WAS amazing! A beautiful, hot full Irish breakfast, with nicely toasted toast. The only criticism I could... More
