Meeting a friend in Cashel for dinner we needed somewhere to stay. Fortunately he recommended Copperfield House, and we duly booked. Turning up from Waterford we found it and were greeted like old friends by Josephine. Our room was beautiful and so comfortable, and next morning breakfast was everything we could have wanted to set us up for the day.... More

We stayed one night in this lovely B&B on our 3 week tour of Ireland. It is a quiet place, lovely furnishings. It's located near Cashel castle & within walking distance of the village. Important, since all Irish villages are a Maze to drive in. The breakfast was Sumptuous with choices of cereals, fresh fruits & juices, full Irish (sausages,... More

I stayed at Copperfield while driving through the Cashel area in March. Josephine is a wonderful hostess, and the house is first rate. Breakfast was served early at my request since I had a full day ahead of me, and the meal was superb. The Cashel area is rich in medieval ruins - many come to see the Rock of... More

Great place to stay away from home! Josephine was very welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was great - be sure to try the homemade marmalade! Great location to the Rock of Cashel! Thanks for a great stay!

My daughter and I spent a couple of days at Copperfield House and our stay could not have been more welcoming. We were walking from Cahir, and Liam picked up our luggage. On arrival of the 30k walk, we got fantastic meal made by Josephine: soup, turkey and apple pie. The breakfast also was fantastic with porridge and poached egg... More

We had the two downstairs rooms here they were clean but fairly charmless. The bathrooms were small, tiny showers and no blinds at the windows. Parking was good it was quiet but the rooms were chilly. Breakfast was excellent and the small sitting room upstairs comfortable. The welcome was good and the location convenient. This was the most expensive B... More

An excellent choice for a stay in Ireland. Very welcoming and the cosy feeling increases when you see the accommodation. The rooms are tastefully furnished and there is no road noise or other distractions. Great choice at breakfast and there is a lovely garden to enjoy from the dining room. The overall feeling is that Copperfield is a "home from... More

Absolutely beautiful B@B. Spotlessly clean. The surroundings are beautiful and garden and lawn area so attractive. Josephine is the perfect hostess. Nothing is too much trouble. She even did our washing for us and I am sure she ironed them too. The breakfast was lovely and eaten in a beautiful room with huge windows overlooking the garden. We stayed in... More

I spent a lovely evening here. The bed was comfortable, the hostess friendly, the breakfast sumptuous and the surroundings quiet. Will I stay here again? Definitely. Walking distance to the town and plenty of parking.

Copperfield House is conveniently located just a short walk from Cashel. We chose this B&B purely on location after a short drive around the town. The room was comfortable but the shower small. Hostess Josephine was excellent and she went out of her way to help us track down the address of a family we'd been asked to visit. She... More
