Don't let the rating fool you, the hotel says its 4 stars but the beds are a -1 star. Seriously these beds are the worst I have slept on in our European travels. Hotels are all about sleeping and if your bed is horrid then it's not worth staying. The down stairs restaurant is great but doesn't make up for... More

Decided to break journey to Killarney by staying in Baileys Hotel in Cashel. A gem of a hotel located on the southern part of the town. All reviews were absolutely correct. This hotel is warm relaxing with a very nice feel to it. Our room. Was spacious and spotless. It was our intention to have an evening meal in the... More

After a day of sight seeing we came upon Baileys Hotel in Cashel and checked in for the night. Parking was close, secure and undercover. Our room was well maintained, warm and nicely furnished with a lovely window seat. After a cold day out, the underfloor heating in the bathroom was really welcome. We looked around the town at other... More

While in Cashel ,we generally go for a meal in Baileys , the food is of excellent quality with innovative starters , and friendly staff. I would highly recommend the seafood starter if ever you have a chance to eat here.

I stayed on two occasions at this hotel whilst on business and it has everything you need to ensure a comfortable stay to recharge after a hard day. The staff are attentive and welcoming and the rooms are safe, secure and very comfortable. Enjoyed fine service in the bar area where I went to eat and the food was very... More

We spend a night in Bailey's Hotel and had a lovely experience. First-off, it has parking in an underground log next door. This is important to know if you want to stay in an old town, old manor house and have a car. We had our 12 year old daughter with us, so we had a family room (double and... More

My comments: Great location, very nice comfortable room with a bay window with seats, large cozy bed, large nice bathroom, cute library we used to sit and relax, great breakfast with choices, walking distance to local historic sites, pleasant staff; large flat screen T.V., parking for the hotel was close.

I accompanied a family of four here in April. While I have been to Cashel many times since 2000, this was my first time at Baileys as a guest. I was definitely highly satisfied with everything from the warm Irish welcome to the very convenient parking and the warm gas fire burning in both the reception as well as the... More

Spacious rooms, friendly staff, great hotel restaurant (lamb shank...falling off the bone), and a quick walk to the rock of Cashel, the abandoned Abbey, and a couple legitimate spots to have a Guinness. I thoroughly recommend the walking tour by John Cash (real name) offered from the hotel lobby, the history of this town and region is engaging and John... More

My Mom and I stayed in this hotel for 1 night during a recent driving trip through southern Ireland. The staff were extremely accommodating bringing tea to our room and offering suggestions for dinner as well as help with parking. The breakfast was plentiful and the morning staff was also very courteous!! Only tiny complaint was a foul smell in... More
